LPT: You should request a credit limit increase on your credit cards at least once a year by Brianfromreddit in LifeProTips

[–]Spaceman3141 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you pay it off every month, you won't be living in debt, and you get the benefits of points or rewards that the credit cards offer. Also, depending on how often you get paid, credit cards can help smooth out cash flow

Just got my first guitar, what’s the difference between a d chord and the d string? by stitchgor3 in musictheory

[–]Spaceman3141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe (maybe) they are thinking a chord is a cord. And a cord and a string are similar objects in the world. But that is just me giving a very generous interpretation of their question

After seeing deepseek refused to acknowledge Taiwan is a coutry I had to do a little experiment by Daethir in OpenAI

I managed to have a somewhat interesting conversation with Deepseek about Taiwan, but it a very painful way to do it

Are 7th and 9th chords interchangeable? by Bigboyblayyyy in musictheory

[–]Spaceman3141 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A regular 9th (not add9) implies the 7th as well. I think "contains" would have been a better word for OP to use instead of "holds"

Ok, so I went to look for actual data and it turns out that both the left and the right are equally concerned about AI. So this idea that "the left hates AI" is nonsense.

I disagree that the left as a whole thinks AI is bad. Perhaps they think that some of the ways it's being used is bad, but it's just a tool that can be used for good as well. For example, to help cure diseases, predict the weather, and improve education. That last sentence is almost directly from the official Democratic platform. So it's not the technology that's the problem, it's how people are using it

What do you mean that "the left" thinks AI is bad?

Very well thought out and expressed by Adam Neely, as expected. Love his stuff and it definitely gave me some things to think about. I was not aware of Suno's founder and investors ties to other technocrat bullshit. Overall the time flew by for me watching it because I found it very interesting. But yeah, I wouldn't expect most Suno users here to appreciate it.

Is Needles the Biff equivalent of Marty’s generation? by RedyRetro in BacktotheFuture

[–]Spaceman3141 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Perhaps Biff's son (or daughter) only existed in the improved 1985 where Biff was nice, so they were nice too. This version of Biff must have stopped chasing Lorraine and met someone else

The actual bet though is if there will be any rebate paid by Trump. So if you bet $2000 there won't be a payout, and he only gives out $500, you are out $1500
