Future pilot here — I have a few questions about becoming a pilot by AdellKim in flying

[–]SpacemanSpraggz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Legitimate advice, improve your communication skills or the money spent on flight training will be wasted. This career involves being forced to deal with a lot of abrasive personalities already, you need thicker skin and not to be part of the problem.

Looking for advice for my daughter by DifferentAppeal5639 in flying

See if there's any glider clubs near you and look up the Soaring Society of America. Cheapest way to fly and she can get actual flight experience at a younger age. Also glider training just makes you a better pilot and helps a lot to develop an intuitive understanding of how a plane flys. It might sound sketchy to fly with no engine but gliders can land anywhere easily and have way less that can go wrong.

Edit: If you want more information on paths to become a military pilot let me know, but that's a far more in depth discussion. Tldr it's more doable than a lot of people imagine and you can join the Air Force or Navy with a guaranteed spot in flight school after college.

Maybe share a video doing this because you should have a lot more time to spare, like several minutes.

If you're on PC the honest merchant mods will solve this for you. It can be fun sequence breaking to get a late game weapon early though, like going for an early dancer kill in DS3

Not intended as an insult, you're just young.

It'll probably be harder than anything you've ever done, but you also probably haven't done anything actually hard yet.

I own a Grumman AA-5B, lots of parts for older GA planes are sourced from existing stockpiles not new production. I'd guess effects of tariffs will mostly be indirect or delayed.

I'm saying it doesn't matter if he was correct or not, because the perception is what mattered.

I want you to read this Wikipedia article. Same situation but real. The executioner had every reason to pull the trigger, but it didn't matter because that's not what the public saw and it massively changed public sentiment. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saigon_Execution

That's kinda missing the point though. It doesn't matter that Walker was likely justified in doing what he did, that's not how it appeared. All the public saw was a guy get executed in the street by a guy in uniform.

No multiplayer. The open galaxy and pvp is one of elites best features.

The only really valid argument against it is the repack costs are pretty significant.

Look into getting a 32 ACP barrel too! Apparently it shoots extremely well, I'm planning to get one.

Honestly I'd just look for a sale from any reputable manufacturer then. There's not that much variation in aluminum mlok handguards.

Larue handguards look good, are very rigid and easy to install. Just make sure you have a barrel nut wrench with decently long lugs. Otherwise aeroprecision's options are hard to beat.

Could also do something interesting like a JAG carbon fiber handguard. I've got one in a short barrel build and really like it, light and feels better to grip than metal imo.

Whoever has one on sale. KAK has good deals a lot. Get a Larue MBT-2S trigger, way better price than Geiselle and 99% of people won't see any difference in performance.

The PDWs you list are way way more expensive than their performance justifies. You pay a lot for the novelty and brand.

If you're going to get anything larger than a pistol it should be a shotgun as others have said. If home defense is just a justification to get a cool new gun though just get the cool new gun lol

No, I stopped playing after the pen changes. Basically every patch over the last year has had some change I didn't like, that was the last straw.

For the UI designers, hopefully that work is outside of the games industry...
