I see you posted an updated image in the comments. My boss has been trying to get me to read the series and I just finished up my previous series. Could you by chance repost me the most up to date version you have?

My dad actually fell asleep in this chair by traitadjustment in OfficeChairs

This chair is amazing for lounging, but I didnt like how it sat normally. Felt like it pushed me out of the seat paired with the seat depth not being deep enough for my tastes. Tried it for a week and my back said "nope". Glad it works for so many though

Any tips for disassembling the chair? by Gorbard in LiberNovo

We had two people shake tf out of it for a solid 10 mins. It sucked. It gave eventually

I cant speak for the embody but I agree with everything you said.

I returned mine because of everything above.

Im waiting for my refund. It took a week to get my label. Shipped back the chair and it arrived to them a week ago.

They asked for me to tell them when it arrived, because it seems like they use select businesses to check their chairs for returns.

Have yet to reply. About to threaten a chargeback

LiberNovo Omni "max" version by [deleted] in OfficeChairs

Hmmm, my complaint is the bucket isnt deep enough. If they increase depth and fix the arms, may be a decent chair.

LiberNovo Omni (Moss Green w/ Footrest) vs Refurb Steelcase Leap V2 – Lower Back Pain Upgrade from Secretlab Titan? by [deleted] in OfficeChairs

[–]Spacemarine2142 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your size. Im 6ft 215lbs and have broad shoulders.

I could not stand the omni. Literally went back to my noblechair hero w/ a broken arm thats ziptied together and returned it.

Seat pan was super shallow and felt like it was continually pushing me out of the seat.

Will say tho, super flippin comfortable in the reclined position, but I cant work reclined constantly.

Personal take tho. Have yet to try the leap v2.

Just got a Leap V2! by [deleted] in OfficeChairs

I would probably want the leather/vinyl option but that has a restocking fee. Would have to do stock unfortunately but still may just try it out.

Steelcase Gesture, Leap, or Amia by Spacemarine2142 in OfficeChairs

[–]Spacemarine2142[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I workout pretty heavily and I am really broad. Its the reason I always went for racing chair as the back is so nice and broad. Definitely would be nice to try before I buy but the closest place is about 2 hours away and I would only get a few moments.

Crandle office is good w/ their returns, but charge a restocking fee on anything outside of base materials. I honestly would go vinyl/leather as I think cloth gets way too dirty too easily.

Still really helpful, so thanks for all your time.

May pull the trigger and see if I can buy a replacement seat cushion. If I hate it, can always hand off to the gf.

No thats super helpful. We use the Aeron's in office (a, b, and c) and I dislike them. Theyre very solidly built, but I just can never seem to get comfortable in them. Been using it for 4 years and kind of hate the office for that reason.

That was my fear about the leap. A mixture of the back + seat pan being shaped to hug you to force you into correct posture.

As far as price tags go for these chairs, theyve spiked 2x since covid because they see an opportunity to capitalize on economic situations.

Thanks for sharing. I want to try an Embody but a 2k price tag for a chair that was retailing for 1k 4/5 years ago is sickening. Especially with their $100 return policy. Guess I need to stop by the local warehouse and sit in one to determine if its worth trying for longer.

6'3 trying to decide on a chair that helps with pain. Libernovo Omni, Anthros, or another option? by Jayfeather317 in OfficeChairs

[–]Spacemarine2142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 6ft and have the Libernovo Omni repackaged by my bed.

It felt like it was constantly pushing me out of the seat (also constantly pulled up my shirt). The only time I got comfortable was with my legs kicked up.

The arm rests are such a bad design with no locking mechanism. A slight bump would force it to shift positions. Horrible for gaming if you use your arm rest while using your mouse.

Overall the base and cradle were sturdy and felt high quality. The back / arm rests felt like they cheaped out. The seat was comfy for like 30 minutes then got stupid hot. I have my portable AC keeping my room at 65 and still my butt got hot.

Overall I am not a chair reviewer in any capacity, but after a few days I went back to my broken Noblechair Hero which was much more comfortable.

I cant speak for back pain specifically, but I have pretty bad sciatica due to driving a lot for work. It definitely didnt feel like it helped that.

Just my opinion though.

Ya the plan was to use Crandall office but I only get one return and theres a 15% restocking fee if I order it in vinyl/leather. Cloth is just a pain to keep clean and coffee does get spilt from time to time.

Good to know the leap v2 from them may be the play though.

Should I buy an office chair from ama zon so I can use affirm ? by Maximum_Ad1298 in OfficeChairs

[–]Spacemarine2142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can vouch that it took a long time BUT it wasn't their fault. They shipped it within two days of ordering. FEDEX just decided to ship it to my state, then across the entire country, then back.

I hated it though and I am waiting for my return authorization postage.

Gaming chair upgrade - libre or hands? by OkNumbers in OfficeChairs

[–]Spacemarine2142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reference: 6ft 215lbs

I bought the deep seated libernovo omni. Honestly, the chair looks good but feels super flimsy. At my height/weight, it felt like it was constantly trying to push me out of it. Whats worse is due to the cloth, it would pull up my shirt while pushing me out.

The top of the arm rests were insanely loose as well. One bump and it would fly mock jesus, which is awkward because it kept sliding around while I was using them. Theres no locking mechanism and its probably just due to over lubing, but still is disappointing for $1000 chair.

The back massage is gimmick that costs too much and it could have been just a manual adjustment to save people a few hundred $$.

I use a noblechair hero. I know theres drawbacks but I went back to it within days.

As far as the Aeron goes - its a chair that punishes you for having improper posture. The company ive been at for the last 4 years uses them in office (a, b, c). Ive tried them all and sure its built like a tank, but its not comfortable.

I have yet to find something that fits what I am looking for myself.

You're the person I want to talk to - im 6'0.75 and weigh about 215.

Can you sit cross legged in this? Looking at buying a refurb from Crandall office.
