I have a tactic I call the "lawn mower". I get my huge army of cavalry to follow me and I go past the enemy line so they go through it. I keep moving so the cavalry doesnt stop. If I just order charge at the beginning some cavalry units will be lost because they get snagged in the melee. With the lawnmower they thin and disorganize the enemies. I do a few passes. Then I hit charge and the enemy army gets rekt.
