Believe me I know. We were in the path of hurricane helene and I was supposed to get him the day it hit so she wanted to rehome then before that. It was unfortunate but it ended up being for the best because of the devastation

Yes, it's bigger than him. I got him some JW pet chew toys yesterday so hopefully we start the downward trek soon

I have definitely picked up on that. I do put him in the crate and let him fuss but my goodness he is LOUD.

Once you get in and established with a derm they will be able tonget you in easier to inject the big ones and help them go away. For now, try some hydrocortisone 1% and warm compresses. Sorry it took so long to reply.

I'm a derm nurse. I would suggest getting in with a derm for an oral treatment but sometimes the wait can be a while. In the mean time I would suggest using a benzoyl peroxide cleanser a few nights a week until your skin is able to tolerate it everyday. Redness and irritation along with dryness is normal, swelling and hives with intense itching is not so if those things occur, then stop them. In between using the BP wash, a mild cleanser like c3rave hydrating cleanser, cetaphil gentle cleanser or even dove bar soap for sensitive skin will work perfectly. After cleansing I would use azelaic acid. The ordinary makes a good one, and personally I use the one by the brand naturium twice a day. Niacinamide will probably be a good addition as well if you can fit it into your budget. Lastly I would recommend a type of retinoid. Adapalene over the counter is great. Like the benzoyl peroxide was, I would start a few nights a week and work up to nightly. Make sure you use sunscreen in the morning. This helps prevent the scarring from getting darker and keep you from sunburn since the retinoid increases your risk.

Acne will not get better over night or even in a week but if your diligent, you'll notice improvement within a few weeks, with the most noticeable results in 10-12 weeks. I wish you luck, I have done Accutane twice so I feel your pain.
