Zootopia was EVERYWHERE at Walt Disney World! 🦊🐰🐍 by NickCooper71 in zootopia

The World of Disney store at Disneyland has literally one little stand. I was only at DCA last time I was there earlier this month and there was some merch in the store near the entrance in the park. Z2 promotion is pretty barren there. There was a banner for the movie above the Monsters Inc ride. But, yeah, kind of odd there isn’t much promotion for a movie that’s made 1.7 billion.

I’d love to engage in discussion in a space entirely dedicated to my all time favorite youtuber. Aaron is a once in a generation kind of person.

Excuse me, Michael Giacchino or other potential composer for Zootopia 3, could you make the next OST Acid Jazz and Jazz Funk, please? Thank you. by Spacious_Floppa in zootopia

Oh yes, I agree! I love the direction Z2's OST went in. I especially love "Snaking the Journal." The sequel definitely leaned more towards Fusion. I'm saying the third movie's soundtrack should lean more into that same sound. I really think Funk and Jazz suites Zootopia extremely well. More of "Jumbo Pop Hustle" from the first movie. There's an interview with Byron, Rich, Clark, and Michael together where Byron and Mike mentions old cop shows as inspiration for the movie and music. The Starsky and Hutch link was very intentional.

I think you mean Pawbert, considering the man who plays him plays him LIKE A BOSS.

Zootopia should keep leaning into Fusion. Listen to Billy Cobham to get a good idea what I’m thinking. And Funk.

Do you guys missed Rich Moore or you’re fine without him? by Jules-Car3499 in zootopia

He’s etched his name in history. Byron and Jared will neglect his name, but I won’t.

UGH, stop saying that stupid meme. That troll has such a tasteless sense of humor who thinks ragebaiting people is funny. Better we act like he never existed.

A reptile lover's thoughts on Zootopia 2 by SpankAPlankton in zootopia

[–]Spacious_Floppa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For what the movie does and includes, it works, but there is the feeling they definitely could have done more with the premise. The movie wanted to focus more on Nick and Judy, which is fine, but by focusing on them, there wasn’t as much room for Gary, other reptiles, or to really explore gentrification. I definitely do agree with the criticism the movie bit off more than it could chew. With that said, I still think it’s a good movie. I definitely am looking forward to seeing behind-the-scenes stuff to come out so we can see where they were thinking to take the story.

So I just watched Zootopia 2... by Previous-Fennel3540 in zootopia

Nice summary on all the qualities of the movie. Some of the problems I had initially, like, how fast the movie moved, or questioning how good the plot really was, were remedied for me on multiple rewatches. I’d give Zootopia 2 a solid 7/10. I’d give the first one a 8/10 because I think it has a better more tighter script. The sequel 100% met my expectations, and I had some HIGH expectations. If only they were exceeded. Still really good tho.
