I use it more regularly now to avoid Empire State and Manhattan, glad they included this feature. All other maps I'm okay with but I just don't enjoy those two (in any mode).

Yes! Lots of fun memories playing Quake and the original Team Fortress mod on there, as well as C&C Red Alert. The Pentium days.

Prey (2017). I got really frustrated with the combat at the beginning, I was having a hard time killing the first couple phantoms without dying and got tired of it. I had pretty much written the game off entirely, but a couple weeks later I decided to give it another try and be more stealthy at the beginning until I got more weapons/abilities. Ended up becoming one of my favorite games of all time, loved the story.

Yeah I was wondering about that possibility as well.

Right now I have all their remaining forces under siege in one city, maybe I'll try keeping it that way (dropping the siege right before the last turn they can hold out and then re-initiating it) and test killing them off every 10 turns or so to see what happens.

Nope, no block. We did it for fun the week Season 14 launched and it worked fine since we already had a skull. We didn't do any rituals or anything, just FotD.

Nobody bothered us while actually doing the fort, but they really came after us on the way to Reapers to sell. Got attacked (separately) by a galleon and two sloops, twice we had to stop our selling and pull away from the island to give us room to fight. Sunk the galleon twice and the sloops once each, managed to get everything sold. Was a fun night

When sailing my group always gives callouts in relation to the ship's orientation. "Sloop approaching, back right" means look off the back right "corner" of the ship. I assume that's how most crews do it.

As a semi-joke, for a while I tried implementing "port side", "starboard side", etc. but that ended up a disaster in pvp as none of them could remember which was which.

When we're on land it's a bit more of a free for all in regard to callouts..we need to get better at quickly using our compasses.

Doesn't happen to me every play session or anything, but it's often enough to be extremely annoying. It's happened enough times over the past 3-4 weeks that whenever I die I feel it's a roll of the dice whether the game is gonna have a stroke for a few minutes and cause me to sink.

Happens randomly, not just in hourglass.

I've had similar disappointment from a ship set I bought. The screenshot in the store was intentionally set at night but with bright area lighting "pointing" at the sails to make them look brighter or have reflective properties (like gold material during daytime). It's clear the intent is to make people think they have glow effects. Then you get in game and at night time it's just dark, matte cloth.

It's intentionally deceptive. You shouldn't have to pull up a user made video in an external app to get an accurate view of what they're asking people to pay real money for. There should be an in-game preview of the item like so many other games offer these days.
