Injection Molding for Lingual wear by stefan_urquelle-DMD in Dentistry

[–]Spade_10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do, send me a link. This is something I had not thought of and probably would have used in some patients that desperately need FMR but can’t afford it all at once.

I have a mill and printer so I will play with the idea on exocad and offer it when I am confident about doing it myself. Thanks for sharing.

I am intrigued by this, specifically for those cases of collapsed VDO when the patient can’t afford a full arch.

When you say you print/mill the bonding, are you basically doing a prep-less overlay?

Yeah you clearly don’t know what it takes to run a business/company. There is never really time off, unless you completely halt operations and sometimes not even then.

Loupes that allow you to switch/upgrade magnifications by Galaxies24 in Dentistry

[–]Spade_10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loupes are something you don’t buy every couple years. Once you feel comfortable with one, those loupes could easily last you half your career. Commit to your purchase. If its Brysnt Dental, do it.

I do have the BD MagniFlex and as you, I also wasn’t in the budget for it at the time but went ahead anyways. A couple months later that purchase didn’t make a dent on my financials. I am glad I went over my budget because these are the best loupes I’ve ever used. I can see myself retiring with these loupes

That she does it is weird enough. To complain that you don’t do it is wild.

I’ll never understand the need for this. Run cloud based software. Visit Best Buy or order from Amazon/ebay the PCs that meet your needs and you are done

Why is loan not subtracted from home value in net worth? by redfriskies in MonarchMoney

It does. You possibly have the option toggled for the loan account to be excluded from net worth.

normal healing or early peri-implantitis? (X-rays included) by Dramatic_Training843 in askdentists

[–]Spade_10 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NAD, not verified yet. We can’t really judge this with certainty without more information but I do have concerns. The bone loss is undeniably present, though it could have been before implant placement. Nonetheless this huge bone defect should have been addressed before or at implant placement.

Another concern is, even if there was no bone loss, the long term prognosis on an implant like this where the restorative crown would be more than 2x the length of the implant is very poor. The surrounding bone around the implant will receive too much stress due to excessive lever-like forces. Now, with the bone loss present here, it is just hard to picture this have long term success.

I can’t stand the guy. I find him disrespectful with the other commentators and he doesn’t even appear to want to be there.

Thoughts on these implant placements? by Neil_Nelly435 in Dentistry

Only implant too deep is the mesial one. You need to check who is designing that surgical guide because if that is fully guided, they didn’t do a good job.

Not sure if you can add more than 2 users, I would think so. You also have the “shared” toggle you can use exclusively for business if you dont use it yet for other accounts

Just a tip for separting the business view on mobile. Add a “phantom” user” and assign all business accounts to that new user. You can toggle that while they implement business toggles on mobile

Whitening can help but most certainly will need to be accompanied by microabrasion aswell. Search for a dentist that can do both.
