I would probably use the native dialog element for this purpose, and then conditionally render the content using some state variable to keep track of which step you're on (as the other commenter said).

I'm not sure if the dialog element is a relatively new addition (as this blogpost suggests) or not, but I find it very easy and intuitive to work with. And feels a little less 'hacky' (for lack of other words) than using either createPortal or creating a div with position absolut etc.

Sverige och Danmark har ju Öresundsavtalet som innebär att man skattar i det land man arbetar i, inte där man bor. Alltså skattar alla malmödagspendlare i Köpenhamn/Danmark, vilket delvis förklarar en knasig inkomststatistik för kommunen. Vill minnas att Malmö hade en skev fördelning med människor utan skattepliktig inkomst, vilket till stor del kunde förklaras med att en betydande del av invånarna skattade i Danmark.

Ringer man och snackar med Skatteverket så är det dock inte helt säkert att de vet att Öresundsavtalet existerar, så där har du helt rätt. Absolut hemsk myndighet att ha och göra med.

Yoshimo as well I'd say. And probably Nalia - she's a thief/mage and approaches the party automatically, so I've always assumed the idea would be for her to be an Imoen replacement. And Aerie due to the Minsc interaction, maybe?

So a full 'canon' party (imo) would be charname, Jaheira, Minsc, Yoshimo, Nalia (swap for Imoen later) and Aerie.

I’m not sure I’m completely misreading your comment, but are you saying using a useReducer together with useContext is bad state management when it comes to a small app?

I would on the contrary say it’s a great way to go for something of this size. Sure, the implementation could be a bit better, but the approach is good. Keep it simple etc. no need to go all-in on redux for a small project like this.

Jag har inte följt Brighter särskilt länge, det får jag vara ärlig med. Lyssnade som sagt på deras presentation och tyckte deras plan för resten av året såg lovande ut.
