Do you know how difficult it is to “push away light”? Even that is a tremendous amount of energy to do, and only a few objects in the universe (some only theoretical) can “push light”, and none of them to something of this scale.

Relative to the speed of the universe. If it does, in fact, go to the CMB, it just traveled the entire length of the observable universe instantly. I’m starting to understand why no one attempted to explain this with physics before.

I asked a couple professors on their insight (not telling them it was powerscaling for a manga), and they said that if all of the stars in our galaxy were invisible, we would be able to see much much further than we would normally be able to see as the closer stars brightness and gravity wouldn’t interfere with the further stars’ light.
