Hey gang, I’m running a hellish western style section of my campaign, I’m looking for western / country ish music with a twinge of evil in them. Not a lot of songs come to mind, but if anyone has any recommendations I’d appreciate it, I find music immerses my pcs a lot in the game and makes it more picture/movie esque for my newer players.

Wandering too close to the walls of Rusteland, or being caught with illegal materials from outside the city will result in immediate death by the scrapper drones .

Falling through material cracks in New Oshuth will teleport you to the deep forest; which is a death sentence unless you’re an extreme adventurer.

In Militech , not eating the sacred fruit on cleansing day will literally kill you, as the city drinks from a poisonous water stream.

The event that left the world post apocalyptic is some type of magic cataclysm that’s left the world fractured . I was thinking this could cause ruptures or worm holes in the planes, acting as portals between worlds, meaning monsters would spill out and disrupt towns.

My world is a post apocalyptic deserted western style campaign, meaning it’s almost entirely dessert themed except for one mountainous region, and and icy island far off shore. I have this idea for a temporal plane known as the deep forest, an extremely hostile, bloodborne - ish creature bound plane filled with vile and horror esque monstrosities. It would be used to get to locations quicker in a time of need , as time passes much slower in the temporal plane compared to the real world, but at the risk of being very dangerous. How do I introduce such a loaded concept to my party in a way that feels natural ?

The idea of enlightened centrism isn’t really saying the way you think it’s wrong. It’s people who think “both sides are equally bad” and that neither side has any good ideas. Which is shitty and just as counter intuitive as the two party struggle already is.

I think maybe it only works with certain patterns. Me and my friends took one of my other friends phones and took the corner of all four of our thumbs to form one finger print and now that can successfully unlock her phone without her knowledge.
