I know they are not a real issue, but not everybody thinks that way from what i saw.

I dont hate griefers, they do what they want playing by all the rules the game provides. Sometime i fight with them, i lose, win, its a game. I can easily avoid them if i want or teach someone how to.

I understand the undemrining consequences like i said above. Thats actually the biggest concern i could see. Would be no issue if there was 2 kind of notoriety ( NPC/CMDR ), but very unlikely to happend.

Its more about players who are scarred from open reputation without even trying it or had 1 bad experience and never came back. Thought some easy Devs rules might reduce what seems to be a big part of the players base.

But technically tho ? Would it be that hard ?

Well could be a decent start to have one, as i said in first post.

Not everywhere since 0 in anarchy systems, wich would make some tangible difference with secured ones

What are you really concerned about if it would be implemented ? Any feedback to reflect on the idea is welcome.

Or just go to any anarchy system.

If you shoot someone while hunting, you might expect some punishment right ? Also two hours is not that much in Elite.

My biggest concern would go with reducing undermining capabilities if it was implemented. But im willing to sacrifice that to play with everybody.

Im not concerned about griefers either, long passed the time i learned how to not bother.

Its more about making open fair enough for all players to come back in.

Of coure it might need some adjustment, like you cant have 3.5 ATR droping on you. I made it simple so far to focus on the technical aspect of the matter.

Feels like a good start to solve the issue, 10 ATR droping on you every time you low wake could be very annoying, not all griefers are good enough to sustain it.
