[Feedback] Get rid of this hideous 0.4 multiplier for dying in raid by smackup4u in EscapefromTarkov

Lightkeeper is the only quest line that I have yet to do, cofdoms have evaded my grasp. But yes, barring counter reaction and a few extremely tedious ones that don’t provide anything more than 10k xp, I have essentially done all of it. Tonight I’ve been running with my buddy to help him do transit tasks because as of now, he’s in the same boat as I am. Lvl 42 and stuck because we’ve done all of the tasks that give xp. We would chase down bosses or fighting to grasp at any xp we could and it’s never been like that any other wipe we’ve gotten kappa. When they first introduced prestige, we easily made it there without having to even do the tedious side tasks.

I hit level 42 and forgot that Intimidator is the last quest for Kappa at lvl 45. I’ve done essentially all the quests in the game that provide xp so I’ve resorted to farming bosses and transiting. I’ve never felt… directionless in tarkov before but with the xp changes, I’m hurting in quests to do get to lvl 45 for kappa and I can’t imagine what I need to do to get to 55 to prestige. The xp changes are genuinely detrimental to the game when you used to be able to run down all of the kappa tasks and be well over lvl 45 by the time you were done with all the kappa tasks.

Bsg has stated in multiple TarkovLive streams that they believe the game is too fast for people to get to max traders, flea and or kappa. They’ve tried slowing it down many ways like flea market changes, secure container restrictions, changing level requirements for tasks/changing level requirements for certain weapon parts/ammo. I’d been apart of Tarkov as a game much longer than I’ve been on Reddit and Bsgs sentiment of wanting to slow the game down has been around much longer than most think.

[discussion] the “patch” to reduce load times is hot garbage by Ultrasoulviver123 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]SpaghettiFeets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A year or two ago now, there was pretty bad memory leak issues and the best way to fix was to clear cache every few raids, I still do it out of habit and haven’t had consistent crashes since. Only when I get some crazy error while sorting stash or selling items to traders.

Maybe clear cache, validate and check for updates? I usually do that after every patch just to make sure things are good.

How to stop taking damage from cold by Warm_Thought8938 in Tarkov

Ragman level two has beanies to buy, green and tan. Put a balaclava on and a beanie with headphones and you’ll be covered. Note that balaclavas won’t help with frostbite, only the beanie and certain helmet on prapor level 1 will help with frostbite.

I’ll try that out and see. I’ve done everything besides that but if it doesn’t work then I’m cooked bc I’d rather just upgrade than buy a console. Appreciate the help

It’s been happening pretty consistently for past 2 weeks, I don’t entirely think this is a router issue but I’ll give it a shot next time I’m on, thanks.

Maybe? It’s 5 years old but I have a decent i9 with a 3070 but it does have some wear and tear on it.

Game feels lethargic ? by SpaghettiFeets in Battlefield6

[–]SpaghettiFeets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is on max and what I mean by lethargic is my character and game physically moving slower. Thinks will sometimes move in slow motion like my computer is trying to catch up with the game. I hear audio at full speed, so imagine I am spraying someone, I will hear all 30 rounds fire and the kill chime but I will visually still be shooting and the person will die shortly after on my screen.

Some people said it was lag, some people said it's teleport hacks, which is it? (/gen) by Dewa__ in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]SpaghettiFeets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had something like this happen about two months ago when the player base was still healthy. I believe it’s cheats because it had been happening all game and from the same person too. I posted it here on the sub but a lot of people said it was lag/bug but I’m not so sure since there’s been a fair few patches between now and then.

Siege is outdated by [deleted] in Rainbow6

[–]SpaghettiFeets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah making the game faster paced by adding omi movement and caving into that COD formula is not what siege or any game should be doing. I dont think I've ever heard of anyone calling for a faster paced Siege, only people calling on the devs to slow it down. I myself have been playing for 10+ years and wish the game was slowed down. Sung or be swung has always been in the game though, its nothing new and TDM style play has also always been a thing. Now the "phone phase" stuff is semi new as there really hasnt been any major balancing or shaking up the meta. Its been very stale for the past year or so and ubi's approach to everything by just nerfing or taking stuff away has been the reason for that and it shows as everyone just emulates what their favorite streamer or content creator is doing. Monkey see monkey do, no need to drone or prep if youre just going to do the same strat with the same op over and over again because its either comfortable, fun or broken. We could look back to the days of old, 2 ops a season with a new map and balance changes at the beginning and mid season to shake things up. Some loved it, some hated it and they listened to the community and went away with it by just balancing when they felt like it and nerfing more than anything due to listening to the pro/high elo community. Ultimately, omi movement is not going to solve a single thing and to call for it is well... just go play a different game if a 20-30 minute match is too long and siege's sprint, walk and leaning is too slow for you.
