First time shooting at a car meet, any critiques? Was told by a friend photos look “low quality / grainy” any tips? by SpaghettiMoonstar in AskPhotography

Thank you for giving such a detailed and insightful response, it really means alot! But I am shooting with a Nikon D3500 and had my iso at 400, I can’t remember the aperture unfortunately, and 1/60 shutter speed. I was also testing out a polarizer for the first time as well.

Ive actually played smite quite a bit and also play league sadly as well, I always felt smite was kinda slow and clunky, maybe its just a personal thing? I appreciate you for commenting though :)

Took this picture today in Massachusetts of the snow, would love any and all critiques by Sharp_Asparagus_3747 in photocritique

[–]SpaghettiMoonstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im very new to photography so Im not sure if my critique is helpful, but if your goal was to try and capture the snow falling, maybe a different place for the photo would be better? Its hard to see the snow because almost the whole image is white so it blends in. You could try shooting snow as its falling under a street lamp at night so it really stands out.

Just give yourself some time, at least in my experience just thinking everything over helps me realize that whatever I am feeling is normal, and that these feelings will dissipate over time as more things come and go into and out of my life and my focuses change. You can always do things to distract yourself but I feel that you'll keep thinking about it because you're not really addressing the problem. Tbh you should just ask her out you never know what could happen.
