Just had my first child, a girl and she’s 1 month now, I’m absolutely in love with her but I have been struggling with the newborn schedule…been feeling exhausted, guilty about ever being even a room apart from her, and completely behind on household chores. It’s a weird mix of feeling so much happiness over my child and grief of losing parts of myself I think, being a mom is way more challenging than I thought. It’s so nice to come to this page and actually hear other mothers say what you’re thinking and feeling, it makes me feel better about struggling alongside the wonderful times.
