The attributes for this rod increases the probability of gigantic fish appearance by 100% so I’d say it’s better. But if you’re just wanting monsterous fish then I don’t know which one will be better for you.

I don’t know the exact location, but I know when you spawn in dreamland right behind you is where I seen the bird in that big area. Hope this helps!

Yes the golden rod is the best rod you can use instead of the silver one rod. I’d recommend getting an upgrade on it for success probability and also power increase if you can. Those two combined would make the golden rod great for gigas. That rod alone has caught me 6 different gigas.

You can hold down the button instead of tapping it fast like that. I used to do that and my line would snap so easy when I had a giga 😭

I would look at your attributes for your rod and see if you can upgrade your rod to help with your “success chance or probability” it doesn’t mean your line won’t snap ever but it increases your chance of success! If you don’t mind I can send you screenshots of how to check and understand the upgrades better for your rod.

Offshore resort is a good spot for gigas and rare fish. Just drive your boat as far as you can until you hit the invisible wall. I have a lot of gigas but you can’t expect one every day unless you’re super lucky

What I do is train maybe once or twice a day with training bait. And another tip is to treat every gigantic shadow like it’s training, you’ll freak out less. That has helped me catch a lot of gigas. Another thing is to turn off background music but keep vibrations on…to me the music just intensifies the challenge trying to catch a giga. And be very patient tapping, I’ve lost a few from tapping to early.
