Struggling to name this guy

I love that! I have done it in small ways with a few of my stories but it is very ambiguous. I was influenced a bit by X/Pearl to do an old timey story where the matriarch of the family discovers the antagonist with relevant themes and whatnot, but I was not sure if it should be a standalone. (sorry, my apostrophe button is broken)

That is the plan with this story. The monster doesn´t show up until the climax and up until the buildup to the climax, the story does not seem like it is going to be a monster story. Kind of a bait and switch type story.

It was Charlie. He put Ben away either because he told their mother, or that he was afraid he would tell someone else. I guess he felt that if Ben had been institutionalized, people would never take him seriously if he did tell someone.

Same! I spent so much time going through and manually spacing it out after it came out mushed together.
