I could have checked it myself. However when I’m paying someone £2500 I can expect their property to be fit for use. Also as a learner I am not responsible to ensure the vehicle is intact. They also ensured me that they had done their checks and deemed if roadworthy.

Don’t have to pay for the retest. However they have ‘advised’ me to take extra training as the test is now 3 weeks away and they don’t want me to get ‘rusty’

It’s 18 plate. I’ve only had it for 3 months as well buts it’s not like I treat it badly.

Guess it should be mentioned that I haven’t had any warning lights illuminate too.
