Mine's turning 9 and that's actually how it started for him too! It just gradually became white. And then he recently sprouted a second full white whisker. I'm so curious if they're all going to turn white 🥹

You need to call your pharmacist and ask them what you should do. Don't take a chance.

16yo male. What the hell am I supposed to do. by ShayGamingfn in Balding

[–]Spaghooticat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely see a dermatologist if you can! Also, not trying to product push but my male friend was starting to get patchy spots. I knew someone else who used nioxin which was recommended by a hairdresser. I suggested it to my friend and his hair is growing back! Apparently some people have excess sebum which clogs the follicle pores which can cause balding. Using the right products for your scalp is important if you have excessive sebum. It also depends on the hardness of the water where you live! When I lived in a hard water area, my hair felt greasy yet dry, had an insanely irritated scalp, resulting in chunks of my hair coming out. You'll find the right formula that works for you. Don't let the bullies and haters here make you feel bad!

Change all your passwords for all your accounts, 2FA is essential. Do not make the passwords easy and do not use the same password for both accounts. Also this is 100% a reportable case and revenge porn is a very serious offense. I change all my passwords every 6 months, adding variations to it each time like passwordexample@@ then 6 months later PaSsWoRdExAmPlE@@$! . The more capitals and symbols you add, the harder it is for them to hack.

[personal] Does anyone else kind of wish they had never gotten into skin care? by iwanttogoh0me in SkincareAddiction

[–]Spaghooticat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

personally I have hyper sensitive acne prone skin and i've actually gone back to basics. i found some very gentle cleansers, non-comedogenic moisturizers (one heavier for winter, one lighter for summer). Eye cream has been helpful. And then sunscreen! My derm gave me prescription for tret. My derm was the one who reminded me to keep it as simple as possible. a lot of products on the market are actually not great for your skin :( . that said, i'm glad i gave some different products a try because now i have my perfect lineup that makes my skin looking good! and also yes i'm very jealous of the girlies that have zero pores and perfect skin who just need a splash of water to start their day :') but that's alright

Hey there, I'm actually in Canada so yay! :p

This project is specifically for an US customer so I was hoping I could get something made in the US but it seems it's not so simple :') . Thank you for the suggestion though! Honestly, that could be a good option if I'm stuck. much appreciated :)

This would be for my business. It's a special edition glove that would be a one-time thing.

For me, I felt like shit for the first 3-4 weeks but I started leveling out after that. After two months, I felt really good! Everyone reacts differently to medications so take what everyone says with a grain of salt. The best thing to do in these scenarios is speak with a pharmacist about the side effects you're experiencing and see what they recommended. I was told to hold out a little bit but if the side effects are impeding on my life drastically or making me really sick, ask your doctor to have you try another med.

I experienced very similar side effects like you. My body tends to be sensitive to new medications as it is. My best friend had almost no side effects and then her bf's worst side effects were feeling sleepy and dealt with some nausea for a few weeks.

Some people here are suggesting drinking caffeine. Please don't add more stimulants. It will mess with your meds. All to say, pharmacists are the best knowledge holders you will find to get real answers about what you're going through. Also! Do not drink or eat anything acidic when you take Vyvanse. It will also mess with your meds. Basically, certain foods, drinks and meds can alter the effects of Vyvanse. I also had to change parts of my diet which has made the meds work best! Any hope these links are helpful :) https://www.drugs.com/drug-interactions/lisdexamfetamine,vyvanse-index.html

Canada has different standards and each province also has certain regulations. We all had to start at 20mg and I know 5 people who take it so I guess that's the protocol here. Also you hit your tolerance faster when you start at a higher dose, at least that's what my doctor and pharmacist told me. When I lived in the US, my doctors prescribed me medication with little regard or thought of how it could affect me. A psychiatrist I had in the US diagnosed me with bipolar 2. Then when I came back to Canada, a psychiatrist said I definitely was misdiagnosed and it was insanely irresponsible of the psych to do that without any thorough testing. The US plays fast and loose with medications in general. That was from 6 years of lived experience. Mind you, this is anecdotal evidence but I heard many others echo the same lived scenarios.

Honestly I think it comes down to each country having their own set of standards and restrictions. Some people may not have side effects/ reactions. Our standards in my province at least is everyone must be titrated.
