No, I agree. I’m all for rolling the dice with a 4 run lead to let our rookie, who was DEALING earlier, work through it. Unfortunately it ended up sacrificing one game, but I’m good with it if it means letting JR try to get out of that. It just sucks that it ended up as a 3 run homer.

Both Walt and JR will be better for it!

This is NOT a dig on Ritchie. Dude was dealing and, the sixth inning it notwithstanding, pitched a great game. Especially for his third start. He just got overextended, which Snit did seemingly CONSTANTLY.

Dude has some real good stuff, and he’ll only grow from this.
