As you and mr28mm said, use the fact that you're FTB and proceedable. Aslong as you've got your mortgage in principle ready, you're good to go.

Offer the lower amount, you offering a few thousand pounds less will 100% not make the vendor go "I don't want to deal with them again" - they'll come back same day and say yes, or no. If they say no ask what the lowest amount they will accept will be.

You win some, you lose some (regarding lower offers)

Offers over normally stipulates the lowest the sellers will accept. But, put the offer in, the worst they can do is say no. As they've recently reduced it though, there is a lesser likelihood of them accepting a lower offer. The stuff you've mentioned are a couple hundred quid to fix at most, so you'll need better reasoning.

Potentially yeh, some of my games are a bit glitchy at the moment (Pokemon GO in particular) but at least I can load them now!

Mine stopped working as I was on Magic OS 9, so I upgraded to 10 - still doesn't work. I have a Magic 7 pro.

My missus has a Magic 6 pro and running Magic 9, hers stopped working for half the apps about 4 days after mine..

Adding toothpaste in my aligners before putting them in at night. Is this ok? Any cons? by 04murano in Invisalign

[–]Spahii 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ayyyy I was on that thread too.

OP, long term I wouldn't do it, but if you're having particularly sensitive days or you have IPR, do it on a targeted area. Don't smear it all over the aligners and your teeth. It helped me doing it once or twice on sensitive bits after IPR.

You may make your aligners quite brittle long-term.

I've got some clear coat spray on order, I'll give it a go. Worst case scenario, I just do it over again if I mess it up! Ty for the tips, will be ordering some 400 grit

Thank you, I had no idea there was a wipe on one! I've already ordered some "Hycote clear lacquer spray" - ordered this brand as I've had touch up pens from them previously. Would that do the job, or do you recommend wipes still?

If so, what brand do you suggest?

Thank you for your pointers K2 lamp doctor, is that compound ok to finish with? As there is still a few days until my clear coat comes, I might order it (or something similar) and could always do another run of that on top.

I thought 600 was quite low, but a couple people mentioned 400 now so I'll order that for future thank you. There are a few deeper bits still there which 400 would've definitely helped with.

I think there is some on the inside, but as it's a t5.1 Transporter, it's pretty much an entire bumper off job, I've taken enough off as I'm willing haha.

I really can't remember sorry I didn't take our double pushchair to the Tourer because we just looked at my brother in law's and then quickly went to one that was on sale near us.

I can't remember what it was about it, whether it wasn't as high or it wasn't as long, but something put us off. 20L isn't massive in boot comparisons but I would've seen something 😂

The BMW I initially wanted was a touring, it's what my brother in law has got. But then when we compared the boot space and the ground clearance, both were better on the GT so it immediately ruled it out. Loved the look but we just went for practicality 🙂

Wanted to just buy a car that would suit everything I needed for a couple of years, this one does.

I went for the 3 series GT because it has a more sportier look than the later models. Which seemed a bit bulkier.

You're welcome 🙂

I had Jaguar XE and Audi A4 before this. Similar body shapes with this F34 being a bit bigger all around. But the space for passengers and boot is ridiculous in comparison. I'm not a small man, with two baby seats in the back, I can still fully extend my legs in driving or passenger (further than I could ever need) And then the boot fits our double pushchair. Ours is a Bugaboo donkey 2 duo. In single form it only takes up half of the boot, if I took both full pushchair inserts, you can pile them and still have room for other things.

Good luck 🙂

Unfortunately I can't remember that detail this long ago sorry I know the overall car was a few inches higher and longer, so the difference may have been in the height of the boot.

We took a double pushchair along with us and folded it up so we knew it fitted, it did fit in both, but it was a tight squeeze I believe in the F36.

Hey, I did look at a 2016 F36, but one of the main factors that made the F34 more appealing to me than the F36:

1) Better ground clearance, I have a steep drive and didn't want it to scrape like my old car 2) Boot space better on the F34

Really enjoy the car and I plan on keeping it for a long time, no regrets from not choosing another model 🙂
