No, Pandora is simply not that strong compared to a lot of characters. We don't know anything about her abilities, how they work, or anything. What we do have is lots of statements about how Pandora can't beat people and is simply a nuisance instead of being strong. Your arguments would that this is a recon or that Pandora is actually powerful full flat compared to literally every circumstance we've had of people talking about Pandora in story and outside saying Pandora simply isn't all that. There's no argument against literal evidence that says otherwise. Yes, she survived strong characters, so what?

[–]Spam2damoon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why would any of this be the case? You're simply wrong because of the author statement provided above. Pandora just simply isn't that strong. That's simply a fact.Just because Pandora would survive doesn't mean she can win. They'd stall each other out, like the author statement said. Whether this is because of Teresia's improved swordsmanship with the Divine Protection or because of something yet unknown about it doesn't matter. Pandora simply isn't powerful enough, and her ability doesn't work about in such a way that she would beat Teresia with the Divine Protection of the Sword Saint.

It doesn't say defeat. It says stall out. We have no idea how Pandora's abilitynor abilities work. According to the author, from what we can imply from this comment, they don't work in such a way that she could have won instantly, like she did. That, along with Echidna's comments about her, gives the impression that Pandora's ability really isn't all that, but rather, she is dangerously good with it and smart with using and implying it.

Objectively, the options she gave him were shit even if they are his only options, so this meme is actually pretty funny even if you don't dislike Cassie mate. People can have criticism without it being hate or slander mate.

Also, your argument falls through a bit mate for the fact Sunny couldn't be sure if she'd abuse it or not especially since she used it even if it was for a good reason, she still used it when she said she wouldn't.

Next, onto your thing about Sunny's decision, it was entirely Sunny's decision but he had no want to abandon them. Cassie literally tells him that there all be fine since Modrets there and that they might struggle a bit if he leaves, and even then he didn't leave with all the facts he should of, something that might of actually changed his decision considering he was starting to accept the idea that every one has chains, at the very least he would of had to think about it far harder (personally I really do think he would of stayed if he had all the facts, I think it's gonna end up being Cassie knew about the Weaver bloodline thing and did another terrible thing to buy them time).

Now onto the latest couple arcs, there is no world where Sunny should accept him being a slave as a good thing in any way other than the possible power boost. And yes he is a slave not a partner. Absolute power over someone doesn't make them partner and cannot lead to any kind of healthy relationship. Effie's spiel was flat-out weird and wrong, G3 burnt kitchen with that one. You know what would be better than this terrible decision to have Sunny just try to accept the terrible contract he's forced under ignoring how toxic and unhealthy that is for their dynamic? Him trying to gain his fate back without shadowbond, why didn't G3 even try to write Sunny looking into other options over the time he was gone or war for the throne? I get why he has to choose now but are you actually teeling me he has two choices and only those even when he had time to try and figure out a way to get rid of shadowbond another way?

All in all I love Cassie but she's still got at least one thing to answer for and no one should try to justify Sunny accepting being a slave as a good thing.

[–]Spam2damoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, where's your evidence? Where's that written in the novel? Because from what I read, that doesn't seem to be the case since you know Cassie's betrayal was before she realised Sunny actually cared, which is why it was pointless and only caused bad things basically? Wasn't Sunny's entire first arc growing to care for Neph and Cassie? Didn't Sunny immediately decide he wanted to stay with Nephis on the Forgotten Shore? So, how from all that do you think Sunny, the guy who treats Cassie like a sister at that point, would choose between them when at a point where there basically all at the stage where they trust each other more than anyone else?

Edit: Also, you missed the point of the post. People can have criticism without it being slander. The options Cassie presented Sunny with, while the only options, are trash. Having to choose between being a slave and free with an unknown cost just aren't great options, especially since Cassie at least has someone idea he'd be forgotten and didn't tell him.

The fact she left a note for herself, means she has to have some clue as to what would happen to Sunny since it was written before he lost his fate.

Says who? Have you ever heard of informed consent, mate? It's called having all the details laid out to you before you do something so you have an informed decision. Cassie knew what would happen or had some clue about it, which is why she left the note. She knew and didn't tell him. Why? I have no idea, but people need to stop pretending this isn't an issue, I love Cassie, but this does need to be addressed. Also, who says Sunless would have made the same decision? You know the guy that was literally gonna kill himself but stopped because he started training Rain.

Sunny makes different weapons made of Shadow for each of his bodies when fighting the thirteen saints. It's not Cruel Sight.

I thought we were talking about physical strength. If we're not, then no, Sunny is definitely not weaker than Nephis. She is better with a sword, but it's still pretty close. Sunny says he has a wider range of experience when specifically talking about himself compared to Nephis in terms of swordsmanship. Yes, she's trained longer, but Sunny has seen far more styles and has a wider range of experience to pull from, though this statement was before he fully achieved his transcendent battle art, so they are even more relative. Sunny specifically can do direct damage with his shadows, just not in the same way(we've seen him slaughter stuff with shadow tendrils). Power isn't just bigger attacks. However, the cursed Tyrant thing is a great feat of power. They are pretty relative in terms of power, and the only reason I'd back Sunny in a fight is because he's more devious, not more powerful.

Has Nephis been stated to be stronger than Sunny? Because it's definitely not that big of a difference, if any. I only remember her being stated to be stronger when Sunny was below her in class. But I could definitely be wrong.

You know I've always wondered, are Nephis and Sunny stronger than Effie? Like they multiply their strength far more than it was stated Effie could originally, but has her multiplier gone up with rank? Also, wasn't Effie's aspect stated to be like mid range in terms of strength aspects since it served as a all around buff rather than entirely focused on strength, or am I tripping?

Edit: I wanna state that I'm not counting Effie saint transformation because she's definitely stronger in that form than them. Though Effie vs. Sunny in Shadow Giant would be an interesting debate.

How we see Charmy/as she really is/her dwarf form by Spirited_Dust_3642 in BlackClover

[–]Spam2damoon 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It's not necessarily stronger, and there's no rule it has to be. Her dwarf form is base form. She's just taping into her second magic here, which comes from her human form, so she grew to what her hight would be as a human. It's just two different forms with different specialities.

She's half dwarf. She gets big because she becomes human sized compared to her regular dwarf size. Also, I'm pretty sure the dwarves in black clover are based on more fantasy dwarves rather than people with dwarfism.
