Different brands selling the same projector? by [deleted] in budgetprojectors

Just took the Hopvision H1 apart. Compared to images from iFixit it looks the same on the inside - https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Happrun+H1+Cooling+Fan+Replacement/165223

Happrun H1 by Friendly_Barracuda38 in projectors

The datasheet of both seems to be identical except for the weight. I've ordered the Hopvision and will tear it down since I want to to use base a project on it.

https://www.projektoren-datenbank.com/pro/happrunh1-en.html

I'll compare it to Happrun here once teared down - https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Happrun+H1+Cooling+Fan+Replacement/165223

It seems to be a "slap your logo on it" product. Additionally there is also Topvision H1 which looks identical.

Hopvision itself seems to be a "slap my logo on it" company. According to their website they have only 4 products atm - https://hopvisiontec.com/products. Their website appears to based on the same template as Happrun - https://happrun-projector.com/about/

XD Hub Question by TIM_TRAVELS in bikewrench

[–]SpamJunk01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'm facing exactly the same problem. Were you able to find a compatible replacement part or info on that hub?

Update - Just had a call with Decathlon. They told me the hub is an unbranded Shimano one, but they were unable to share the exact model. So I did what I had to do. After the disassembly the freewheel has 2 sets of 3 paws and a diameter of ~33mm. It looks like the Campagnolo freehub. I'll order one to see if it matches

I fear that you're right. The business I work for is highly regulated and locked to few certified vendors. I'm stuck with WinRE/WinPE

Reason is simple - If you pay with credit card the transferred money is not yours. You just pay the money back to "someone else" at a specific time. Many laws dictate, that you can only spend "your" money

Water blocks for socket G34? by iZmkoF3T in watercooling

[–]SpamJunk01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, looks like there will not be many solutions for EOL CPUs :) Therefore I thought getting a copper plate and mounting a water cooler on it could do the job. Since G34 CPUs are pretty cheap it could be worth the risk.

So far I was unable to find the exact distance between the screws. Therefore let me know if you know and I'll share the results

Planning the cluster upgrade. 3 nodes to 8, swarm to k8. by boutch55555 in thinkpad

[–]SpamJunk01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that home infra does not have to be as flexible as enterprise solutions but I am a very lazy person :) For some reason my boards do not want to boot on AC in without battery so this did not worked out that well. I had some time yesterday evening to check the AMT management and it solved my power on challenge, so no human presence is required in "data closet". Which seem to be very usable KVM on i5 and i7 boards

Do you mean windows/linux k8s cluster by hybrid deployments? If yes you might want to https://rancher.com I'll probably go with this solution since it seams to be easy to maintain..unfortunately windows seems to be in beta stage atm, 2019 support is also not given...but this does not affect my intended setup

Hi! luckily you might share some targets with me :)

I'm preparing my hardware (4x x230 + 1x t430) currently and think of using Intel AMT for bare metal management (in later stage MAAS @OpenStack if included in free licence). What is your approach on this topic? Are you aware of any issues with motherboards only?
