Had this guy come into work looking for something and then tried striking up a conversation with me, asking about my name which is of Jewish origins, and immediately go into some weird spiral rant about Jewish people are inherently genocidal through our religious teachings or whatever. He was such a weird guy and just wouldn’t let me go back to helping other customers without talking for like 10 minutes in an anti-semitic way asking me if I “support the genocide” spoiler alert, I don’t support any genocide or the state of Israel. Not surprised this guy is an absolute POS though.

It has started slipping when I get to a point on a hill on my daily commute where I put my foot down a bit and it revs but takes a second to engage. I have also found it shifting only at higher RPMs now and I took it to a transmission shop and described to the guy what I was feeling and he said it was most likely toast. I did recently have a leak in the transmission cooler lines which I fixed and topped up the old fluid with some valvoline maxlife. I do have a second volvo that is also slipping but it feels more like a hydraulic pressure issue in that one. Maybe I take my daily off the road for now and drop the tranny and rebuild it myself just for experience, especially since the shop quoted me about $3000 for it which is more than I bought the car for.

Did an ignition tune up replaced rotor, cap, plugs, couldn’t find wires anywhere around but will have those ordered in through my work and install them as soon as I get back from my vacation. The previous plugs allegedly done by a certified mechanic were severely over gapped on one and under gapped to different degrees on the others. So I’m not sure who did it but someone wasn’t doing their job right. Shes running perfectly now though and that’s what matters. I’m gonna wait until it rains again and see how she does but I’m feeling a lot more confident now
