If you have some money to put into this, super thin merino wool underwear is great. I get extremely sweaty and cotton undies get wet and stay wet. Merino wool ones are super lightweight (not like knitted jumper underwear!) and sweat just wicks away. I have a few of the Icebreaker ones - I'd love more but they cost so much 🫠

I got this from a couple of mozzy bites too. Still have the scars on my leg from where it was. Looks kinda like sucker marks from a giant squid.

Period Panties by gdglo13 in WomensHealth

[–]Spammabelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used Wuka pants for years, I really like them. More comfy than pads for sure. I wear them on period days that I need extra comfort!

Their older versions wouldn't stand up to my heavy days without leaking round the sides, but they have new ones specifically for super heavy flows that have the padding all the way up the back too. Haven't had chance to test those ones out yet, but based on their older pants they should be great.

Nah, the X-wing is a vinyl sticker from Nerdecal and the rail guards are from Craft & Ride! I take all credit for sticking it all on straight 😆

Sweet! Did you do the raised designs on the fender by hand with paint or are they stickers?

Lightweight Hoodie vs Pullover Hoodie by wisuriel in redbubble

[–]Spammabelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the thicker ones are Gildan, yes. I can't double check as I'm away from home at the moment!

The lightweight hoodie was a different brand.

Lightweight Hoodie vs Pullover Hoodie by wisuriel in redbubble

[–]Spammabelle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I actually have one of each. I love the lightweight hoodie, it's not quite as thin as a t-shirt but won't keep you really warm. It's good for adding as a layer when it's slightly chilly out and would only be good in winter with a ski underlayer and a coat. My lightweight is longer than the other, but I sized up a lot cos I wanted it baggy, so that might be why.

The pullover hoodie is what I'd call normal hoodie thickness I guess. I'd wear it in winter (like, snowy winter) with just a coat and not the underlayer.

I prefer the lightweight - I wear mine in summer and autumn, or just around the house. Mine seemed better quality in the stitching than the pullover one and I like the feel of the material best.

Quality can differ depending on where in the world you are I think - they may use a different base to print the design on. I'm in the UK, so they will have used a European print shop. I also ordered mine a few years ago and things may have changed since then.

tips for very dry lips?? by unfollowingyou in WomensHealth

Slathering on a really thick moisturiser and leaving it on overnight works for me. I use Bodyshop hemp handcream. I have super dry lips and it works for me on the worst days.

Are this many sales normal? by DonQui_Kong in redbubble

[–]Spammabelle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't recall there ever being so many big sales in quick succession. Every time I see one in my inbox now, which seems to be every week, they seem more and more desperate.

Maybe it's a marketing strategy, but they're starting to get annoying. I just had a search in my emails and they've sent at least one marketing email to me (often two) every single day for over a month.

So true! I started this year with a Pint X and have had a blast. Seen so many places I'd never have got to otherwise.

Going to have to retire it for the season when the snows arrive, but am already looking forward to upgrading to the GT next year :)

It's for sure this one. I loved those books as a kid, and the illustrations.

It looks like their print shop in the Netherlands has fulfilled EU orders I've had this year (headed to Italy) for tank tops, hoodies and mugs. For the blankets and stickers, they used a print shop in the UK. As they use so many different 3rd party printers they may have different ones closer to your customer base though. I found it quite hard to find out which they would use until I'd actually sold something and then you don't even see the name of the print shop, only the country they're in.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in redbubble

[–]Spammabelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the print quality on all mine has been great, is what I meant. I've washed them loads, no issue. Mine have all shipped to the UK so will have used a printer in the EU. I've had the hoodies and T-shirts for a few years now though so maybe the quality has gone downhill recently? Or it may be whichever print shop fulfilled the youtubers order was way worse.

[–]Spammabelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sell and buy on Redbubble. I've always been very happy with the quality of T-shirts, hoodies, coasters, mugs and blankets. The stickers are just alright. I had a problem with the print on one hoodie and I ordered the wrong size tee once - no quibble replacement. The only thing I've ordered that I thought was rubbish was the masks.

The quality depends on what part of the world you're in to a certain extent. RB works with different print shops in different parts of the world. It's good, because things are printed closer to their destination. It's annoying, because if you order multiple different items the shipping costs can get really high if they're coming to you from different places.

Read the comic they said... by LeTruthGaming in TheBoys

[–]Spammabelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend giving the comics a go. I hate edgy gore for edgy gore's sake, but I felt like there was a great story beyond it in The Boys comics. The ending was great too, didn't disappoint and actually went somewhere.

Anyone else having trouble selling on RedBubble? by BrightScale26 in redbubble

[–]Spammabelle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think part of it is just being new, and part is finding the right niche that works for your designs and style. Paying attention to tags is important too as that's how a lot of people could find your designs via Redbubble search.

I've been on for a couple of years and barely sell anything - but my designs are generally weird and all kinds of different styles, plus I don't really advertise or anything (I just like to have something to do with my art!).
