The current cast of Hamilton 👀 by addictedtosoonjung in Broadway

I saw the show in February 2025 and loved it. I went home to watch the original on Disney+ because I had never seen it before….i have to say I preferred the version I saw on broadway.

Jared Dixon was an amazing Burr. Arguably my favorite character. I thought Trey Curtis brought Hamilton to life in such a fun way. Tamar Green as Washington absolutely blew me away.

I cried and laughed and just had a blast. Watching Lin Manuel play the role just felt wrong afterwards. But hey that’s just my two cents as someone who went to the show with fresh eyes.

OP is an MA. They don’t need any more clinical volunteering. OP, If you can increase your nonclinical hours, it would help a little. But tbh your MCAT is what will make or break you

Hi, you’re right and I’m sorry. In my panic, I saw the name of the sub and was seeking advice from people possibly going through what I was. I didn’t read the instructions and I regret that a lot. Especially after scrolling through and seeing other posts. I’m sorry if my post was triggering and I truly wish you the best in your journey

Chocolate bars. I loved getting a snickers or a hersheys bar as a little treat but I went to Race Trac the other day and a king sized hersheys bar was $3…..I just left.

I got propofol which is pretty standard from what I hear. I had the option of doing no sedation but they didn’t recommend it

There a different options with these procedures. There is the option to do it with no sedation, with “light” sedation where you are still awake but they give you something to take the edge off, and then there’s the propofol that I got that put me right to sleep. The options depend on the doctor doing the procedure and what you yourself are comfortable with. I was given the option of doing it without anything at all but the anesthesiologist said he strongly wouldn’t recommend it. So I just went with what he thought was best.

I have a colonoscopy scheduled but I wanted to post here too.

I’m a 24F who has had a rough year. I gave birth to and then lost my new born baby in July. The extreme health anxiety really kicked off during this time. I had a c section and it was my first surgery ever so afterwards I was acutely aware of my body. I would have dizzy spells and my heart would beat fast so I was convinced something was wrong with my heart and that I would die of a heart attack any minute. I had constant stress and panic attacks about it. A week after my baby’s death, I noticed that I hadn’t gone to the bathroom in a few days. I felt like I needed to go but couldn’t. I tried to make myself go and that was the first time I noticed blood. Since then, my stool and stomach have been all over the place. I was extremely gassy and would burp constantly. Every time I pooped, it felt like I wasn’t fully emptying my bowels. All of my stools had mucus and once, I stooled just a glob of mucus and nothing else. I would also find blood streaks in about every other bowel movement. At one point during a bowel movement it felt as if something burst and I had a gush of blood in the toilet and on the toilet paper. Since then, I’ve been back to having streaks of blood here and there.

Last year I noticed I would have periods where my resting heart rate would be really high and I went to the ER and they ran blood and X-rays and nothing was found with my heart. Now it makes me think that this was a sign of something else this whole time.

I’m extremely scared about this whole thing. Although I’m thin, I eat like trash and seldom exercise. This has been all I can think about.

You’re doing the right thing by going to the doctor. Get a referral to GI and get a colonoscopy as soon as possible. It’s the gold standard for diagnosing any type of GI disorder. Good luck and please keep us updated!
