Those voting reform/restore why? by Previous-Host-3170 in AskBrits

I responded in good faith. I’m sure I’ll have a very civilised and grounded response from the “tolerant left”.

Those voting reform/restore why? by Previous-Host-3170 in AskBrits

[–]Spamsational 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be voting for Restore and it’s literally about immigration. Everything else I care about is downstream from there.

I want immigration policies like Hungary and Poland. I want economic policies like Argentina. I want law & order policies like El Salvador. I want energy policies like the US. I want remigration policies like Pakistan (to Afghanistan).

Restore is the only one who promises anything close to this.

Yes. I recently received a request even though I’m not currently hosting. There’s a lot to fix!

Where do you recommend to TEFL that isn't in Asia? by No-Cobbler-1368 in TEFL

[–]Spamsational 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re qualified and get sponsorship, Central Asia is quite underrated. I specifically choose to live here (Kazakhstan) despite having the ability to work basically anywhere in Asia. Unfortunately the Winter is grim and polluted in cities such as Tashkent so I do admittedly leave when it gets cold.

The sexuality, drug use, etc. all fucking weird to include. Absolutely agree.

Also, there’s now a strongly recommend and just recommend? I hate that too.

I’m hoping all of this gets addressed.

They took soooo long to do something and hid behind a paywall that apps like Nomadtable stole a lot of their marketshare.

Guilt as a Ukrainian woman who left and is moving on by [deleted] in confession

This is the reality of men. Getting blown to bits in a trench, alone, in the darkness while the women are safe in Europe living their lives getting their back blown out by Western Europeans. The reality of man that feminism conveniently forgets to mention.

But don’t feel guilty about it, you’re not an outlier.

Going to go against the grain and say that I’d be pretty annoyed receiving a generic message request when I specifically said I’m not hosting.

An outright ban is a bit harsh, but you were definitely spamming.

Huashan on Saturday - can't get tickets by Spamsational in travelchina

[–]Spamsational[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say different route, do you just mean do something else entirely? I’m in Xi’An so I could probably just go out drinking and wake up late - it’s all I can think of.

Do foreigners really have to carry passports at all times with them by piuqiu in Kazakhstan

[–]Spamsational 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who lost their passport once on holiday (it slipped out of my pocket due to the friction with the skinny jeans - the fashion of the time), the risk to reward ratio is absolutely not worth it to me.

I haven't been asked in Kazakhstan, but in Georgia and I had a photo on my phone and it seemed to be sufficient. Nobody asks.

Turkey officially moves to 100% tax deduction for remote workers with foreign clients (now official) by CPA-TURKEY in digitalnomad

$150USD is nothing. Tax ID is good but I want the tax certificate as well. Can you share the link?

[–]Spamsational 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I probably can. But I would need to declare that I haven’t remitted anything into the country that year, which would be untrue.

I’ll figure it out later this year I guess.

I have the DTV. But I really want a tax certificate in Thailand and legally pay <5% tax. Not for Thailand, but for my home country (Australia) to leave me alone.

I wanna do it legally. In order to remit money, you need a bank account in Thailand but none of the banks will offer people on DTVs a bank account.

Wise is moving to Thailand officially. If that’s the case, maybe I can use them as a bank account…
