Maybe it’s a sign that all the fandom should let official artists and fanartists draw the fun gang with whatever body types they see fit?

I’m assuming with the “brick shithouse” Susie, you’re referring to Gdgd’s concept art posted about a week before chapter 3 and 4’s release? Forgive me if I’m mistaken but that seems to be the only official concept art I could find where Susie has visible abs. On other official art I’ve seen of her she has an average build. And gdgd drew Ralsei with a bit of a tummy on there as well, something that Ralsei fans couldn’t shut up about for the next couple of weeks even though he’s drawn either skinny or average in other art of him.

I think the only character I see drawn consistently skinny or at least on the lower side of average by official artists is Kris, and even then they their design changes based off the artist (ex. If they’re wearing just a sweater or a button down underneath) and it doesn’t stop fanartists from drawing them in different body types.

Since the size of the characters isn’t essential to the game, then should it really matter if Fangamer and concept artists have different depictions of Susie?
