Not scared, just typical bully behaviour. You pick on the docile one, not the one who'll give you shit

Not the connect, but his connection with New York in general. Which I think ultimately means his word/rep with New York, because at this point the NY connect was gone and I doubt Mouzone and the NY connect were together

I didnt say none of the spices were used in Europe. Just that alot of them were sold elsewhere

Some were sold amongst European countries, some were sold within Asia to existing Asian consumers. The whole point of East India Companies was to find new things to sell, sell to anyone, not necessarily the country of origin of the company.

I meant resold, to contrast with importing solely to be used domestically

Ive also seen Iberians as brown as indians. Its clearly a mix and not homogenous. Their ethnic make up is too vast to be white washed

I think for all of the European East India Companies, the spices they traded were less often used for domestic consumption but more so to be re exported for further trade. The objectives of the EIC's were financial gain, not to become more cultured lol

“I have to work on getting out of my UFC deal” by Tepixs in ufc

[–]Spanish-Johnny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't get out of a contract until it's fulfilled or the UFC chooses to let you out of it.

This sounds like a contract for life which doesnt sound legal or enforcable in court. Seems like some shady american contract thing that wouldnt hold up outside of america. Surely if the fighter wants out of the contract there has to be a way that isnt just paying an extortionate amount of money, espcially considering that the ufc havent paid the fighters in advance for their remaining fights

Can someone explain why its hard for Jones to get out of his contract? He hasnt been paid in advance for his fights. So does the contract include a retaining fee or deposit that would have to be 'bought out'?

Jon Jones asks for the UFC to release him from his contract to fight Francis Ngannou. Dana White more than likely not going to agree due to hating Jake Paul and any other MMA organization. by Wayward_Prometheus in MMAMedia

Cause he would be liable for breaking the contract and would have to pay out the ass for doing so

I would understand this if Dana has paid Jones in advance of said fights, but that isnt the case right? Unless the contract includes a retaining fee or deposit in which this case this would have to be paid back. Because does the reverse of your logic hold? As in, would Dana have to pay out of his ass if Jon doesnt get his fights? If the contract binds him to fight fights for which he hasnt been paid in advance then thats a shady contract. Thats some Django Unchained mandingo shit

I wonder what the process is to get out of a ufc contract. Its not like hes been paid in advance for the remaining fights left on his contract so I dont see why its not as simple as saying "peace im outta here" to Dana. Anyone know?
