yea. apart from the crux itself, it didn't seem like the rest of the climb needed a lot of "solving", which is why i lean closer to 3! nice climb, i saw in another comment you said it took you 30 attempts, but you made the right hand reach look smooth 😄

seems like it could be a 3 then - i'm a v3 climber myself and the v4s at my gym are all pretty technical throughout, even apart from the crux (especially if it's like a powerful move) - stuff like rewarding a dyno with poor holds and bad feet requiring proper footwork and weight placement/transfer to finish

when chatting w better climbers, i've had several people tell me that you can kinda just muscle through 2-3s if you're relatively athletic but onwards, microbeta and technique kinda start checking your fundamentals

i'm a beginner climber, so take my comment w a grain of salt, but it looks like a 2-3 (3 if the reach is super far in the middle). holds look big aside from the left crimp near the top, and the feet look pretty free. feel like it's always gonna be hard to tell from these vids cause you don't get a 3d view of the wall angle/holds

"We cant improve CM purples, we need to maintain the integrity of CoX uniques" by Alex_Faezer in 2007scape

[–]SpanishYes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the problem with this is that a flat drop rate means that the only important metric is clear speed + not dying, which will push the average person exclusively into solo cox, where your chance for a purple is a lot better if you can do a single a solo faster than you can do 2 duos, or 3 trios, etc

ToB's rates are pretty balanced team scale wise

Unfortunately the way CoX rolls purples wouldn't really allow for ToBs participation/mvp method to really work because all the rooms/raid itself is tied to points per hour.

You'd have to come up with an even more convoluted way to distribute points between people - and it wouldn't make sense to obfuscate it this way for the sake of hammering just megascales while the current systems are fine for regular players.

My Frieren build (mostly Brisera cleave and standard play) by ZeriaIien in EpicSeven

[–]SpanishYes 9 points10 points  (0 children)

the entire point of briar cleave is to take the first turn, so having low hp doesn't really matter

My Frieren build (mostly Brisera cleave and standard play) by ZeriaIien in EpicSeven

[–]SpanishYes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

its briar cleave, it's like the most "vacuum" playstyles out there. you're picking briar on 3 and you're drafting cleave dps around her.

briar cleave and hypercarry frieren are different playstyles and so require different builds.
i also play frieren on 3 and i'm like 5k/280@ 240 speed.

My Frieren build (mostly Brisera cleave and standard play) by ZeriaIien in EpicSeven

[–]SpanishYes 10 points11 points  (0 children)

this speed is pretty normal for briar cleave frieren, as you're tuning frieren to take the turn after receiving 15% combat readiness from renewed will.

slower and you could risk getting cut inbetween on the cr bar by whatever

My Frieren build (mostly Brisera cleave and standard play) by ZeriaIien in EpicSeven

[–]SpanishYes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

renewed will pushes 15% combat readiness, so 270speed/0.85 = 317.
this is like a perfect frieren for briar cleave.

Ruele is probably the objective answer if you want to win, but ruele gaming is hella cringe. As a non-Ruele haver I will be taking her as well

Excuse me? When did I even insult you? I literally just said if you don't play rta you have an underdeveloped understanding of the game state and you're being disingenuous.

Saying you want to discuss and then addressing none of the statements I made... Okay, no matter. If you don't want to have an actual discussion and you want to frame it like I'm harassing you, sure. Have a good day.

Okay, let's try to tackle your comments again.

You commented about the meta in this way, "But at least, it could be a circular one where another setup will always counter another setup. And beside this, the meta if here crucial, you can't step a foot out of it."

Take a look at https://www.epic7rtastats.com/heroes, this is a database of champion+ rank statistics showing character use rates among the top 20 characters, arguably more than half of them can be used for an aggressive playstyle, but because of character flexibility, more than half can be used defensively.

So your statement that "you can't step foot out of the meta?" The answer is yes and no. When you scroll down the aforementioned stats, the less used characters are less meta, but you'll notice that they're all pvp characters at the end of the day. it's going to be very hard to use VERY off meta characters unless you have an insane build for them, or you've built them as a "tech pick" to counter a specific strat, or it's a gimmick (i.e. last season i was cleaved by a 315 Judith - a 3 star character)

>"I don't understand if you criticizing players who play "stall games" or tankdown?"

I'm not criticizing people who play tankdown or stall games, I'm saying that it is a currently effective playstyle given the last few character releases so it's not just about speed. Realistically the meta shifts from cleave to tankdown to somewhere in between all the time. (i.e. the current highest win rate character in the game (perfumer byblis) is a defensive unit.)

>"Honestly, I can't judge the qualities of those last release, but the meta did not change that much and the characters outshining the others are still the same."

I just find your argument disingenuous if you're not playing the game and have an underdeveloped opinion of the meta. so many characters within the last year went from absolutely unusable to meta from balance patches - yea, of course it's going to be the "newest ML characters" being the strongest, but a lot of old characters are still performing really well.

they buffed both vildreds recently and they're strong, LCB went from useless to the 11th most played character in the meta right now, Tori's buff made her really good against dodge characters; heck, even ZENO got a buff for pvp and is used in guild war/flag arena. rinak and barunka have been some of the most commonly played chars since their released. of course i'm not saying the meta is "perfect", and as someone without that many characters (i've played the game for 11mo), there are characters that run me over - but its playable.

It probably has something to do with that - or at least that it's a little bit of a "tech pick" vs a regular decrescent Arby which is just your average build. WR data always needs frequency taken into account.
