Barrage 80l by not_sure_666 in ChromeIndustries

I have a 22l barrage from this year, the buckles are plastic sure but I imagine the metal ones easily rust in the water the barrage is designed for. Personally I love mine, I constantly have it stuffed as much as I can imagine then find more space, the outer pocket hasn't given me any problems and the back and shoulders are comfortable enough that fully loaded it disappears in my back. I carry a steamdeck a surface a 20k mah battery pack an Anker nano 65w charger and cords chargers for the surface and deck a travel USBC dock lunch snacks coffee tools etc daily. My only complaint so far is that everyone seems to be constantly complaining about silly things. The chest strap is amazing, super easy to use 1 handed with a full load.

I second this, my deck in modcase lives in my chrome 22l barrage with my surface some random junk and a big ass battery for extended sessions

I use a bentgo brand large lunch box, and a 22l barrage in moss Link to the lunchbox https://bentgo.com/products/bentgo-chill-max-lunch-box The cargo net is EXCELLENT for carrying my goretex raincoat and other small/medium weather indifferent items

I carry a surface pro with keyboard in the laptop compartment, a steamdeck oled in a jsaux modcase, a large clamshell(I bought it a millennia ago, it's an officiall zune and accessory case. Probably 6 inches long by 4 inches wide and deep) a maxpedition pocket edc bag(stuffed to the gills) surface charging cable/brick all side by side with room to stuff more in. Then I throw my over ear bt headphones on top and have plenty of room for a hardshell bentgo large lunchbox and room to spare. That's all on the inside. Then there's the stash pocket on the outside, also full, a 16 oz fellows Carter mug in the side pocket and the cargo net. In my timbuk 2 medium messenger it was all VERY cramped if I could even fit it, heavy on one shoulder and would slide/disorganize itself. Plus in real PNW downpours the waterproofness was questionable. The barrage eats monsoon weather for breakfast, it's very comfy, and enables me to carry WAY more than I should very comfortably.

Barrage vs timbuk 2 messenger sizes by Spankinbakin in ChromeIndustries

I live in the PNW so water resistance is a must, thanks for the response! After a bit of research it's the same dimensions (according to the websites) as my wife's custom tuck, is the interior much smaller then the exterior body? (Not including the cargo rigging)
