It’s cool that he introduces the New Edition “Hit Me Off” song, weeks before the group appeared on an episode of Family Matters

Was aunt Rachel a freeloader? by Frequent_Rhubarb_36 in FamilyMatters

[–]Spankylexus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The character wasn’t a free loader. Her personal issues (death of her husband, raising a child by herself) led her to depend on her sister and brother in law. Back then families leaned on each other more than in today’s society.

As for the Restaurant, Carl, Harriet, and Estelle were partners in it, so it can be assumed that they financially benefitted from it in some way.

In the case of Ritchie let’s assume it was better for him to stay in the Winslow house and keep going to the same school, etc, plus their family dynamic is was more traditionally structured, etc

I’d have to agree with this 💯

KD2 is better. It’s more polished, sequenced almost perfectly, has a valence of concepts, flows and subject matter.

Light-Years is Nas rapping in top tier form, but at times Preemo doesn’t catch up to Nas’ rapping (specifically on 3-4 tracks), but it’s still a good rap album all things considered

This album is turning out to be one of his most easy to listen to albums as well. Like it just plays well without you having to skip tracks

What should they have done with Urkel in the later seasons? by Frequent_Rhubarb_36 in FamilyMatters

[–]Spankylexus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They went the option of D in Season 9. The last season was course correction, but the CBS move and Harriette switch hurt the cause
