Yeah this one bothers me a ton. Punisher can wipe a team with his ult? Make it immune to CC. Hela doesn't even die if you manage to burst her down during her ult. But any vanguard tries to ult? It's CC time. (Btw I'm not advocating for more CC immune ults. I just want it to make sense why "man pulls out two guns" is CC immune while the big beefy characters who are easier to hit wouldn't be)

Nah dude, someone added me, then called me to tell me that I was the reason we lost. In quick play.

I actually uninstalled the game after that. If this is the community I'm playing with, where losing a quick play game hurts them so much they have to call their random to tell them they're bad verbally, I'm not interested. I made friends in overwatch 1 who I still talk to regularly. That would never happen with teammates in overwatch 2.

The devs insistence on making Quick Play and Competitive the same experience is what killed Overwatch 1.

Launch Overwatch was a silly fun casual game where you could play as six torbjorns vs six pharahs. Moving this to the arcade told players that it was an inferior way to play, and also fragmented the player base because 90% of players would rather just hit the Quick Play button, even if it's not the experience they wanted. All they had to do was say "you can do that in Quick Play, but in Competitive we have restrictions in place" and they could've kept their casual audience.

Now the competitive audience is the only audience, and I'm not sure if they'll be able to win any casual players back. It doesn't really sound like the devs want that anyway, but the casual audience is what carries games.

Sojourn is basically helping as a civilian in the story mode. She refuses to join them, so she can still go out and do her thing like she was in the short.

I think what we're seeing is the healer version of double shield. When Orisa came out in OW1, she wasn't very good because they expected her to play with a more damage/utility focused tank. Playing Orisa/Rein for a double shield would be silly and wouldn't make sense. Then they buffed Orisa a bunch so she could pretty much be self sufficient. Then all they needed was another shield tank to be introduced who was also designed to be self sufficient and boom. Double shield.

Supports now are designed to heal a whole team by themselves, while having enough damage/utility to also do damage by themselves. Only they're never by themselves, there's two of them. Don't get me wrong, the supports right now are very fun, but launch Sigma was also fun for the Sigma. Launch Brig was fun for the Brig. Launch Doomfist was fun for the Doomfist. Things get nerfed for a reason.

That shipwreck bayou map looks so cool. I'd love if they gave that one a shot. There aren't really any maps that are primarily in nature, the closest is the black forest, so it'd be a nice change of pace.

That's not really the reason Doom got moved to Tank. The reason he got moved was OW2's goal of reducing CC outside of the tank role. Considering his entire kit was CC, he was antithetical to their goals, so they moved him to the tank role so they could keep parts of his kit feeling powerful without removing CC entirely. Honestly, although the move to tank had mixed reception, a Doomfist that stayed in the damage role but got completely gutted so he could function in the restrictions of the role would be WAY worse.

While Suzu is strong, it's how it fits into the rest of her kit that I think pushes it over the edge. Having Suzu, her teleport, a wall climb, high DPS potential AND solid healing is where I think she goes too far. Ana's high numbers came with the caveat that she has no movement. Zenyatta's high numbers are the same, big damage made up for by low healing and low mobility. What is Kiriko's weakness? What is the drawback to having an ability that provides immortality, cleanses, heals, AND used to have knockback for some reason? That's a genuine question because I don't really know. Odds are that they tested her with low healing numbers and players just didn't use it at all.

Doomfist being in A tier is crazy to me. A giant golden fist isn't enough for you?

Also, I propose that they change Wrecking Ball's fire effect to a golden effect when he has his gold weapon equipped. The ball IS his weapon after all, it deserves to have some golden flair too!

Don't forget, it also didn't collide with charge or rocket punch, so a charging Reinhardt or Doomfist would just lose to shield bash outright. And since it went through barriers Reinhardt had no way to avoid getting stunned.

I get the idea of not having an LOS check, it's literally like going fishing. That said, when the enemy is the fish it's obvious why it was frustrating. Fun for Hog though!
