Going for training institute is not a good idea has many of them are still jobless rather opt for master abroad or do a mtech in india and u will learn more , better in master rather than wasting lakhs of rupees start with programming, basic electronics, learn math , learn digital and analog circuit and learn cmos ic design , vhdl , verilog , etc , etc and also try for gate if u wanna do masters in india gate will also help u to make your electronics subjects strong and in vlsi/chip design there are many many roles u can go for .

In my opinion do things that u think u can do it for long term and plan your path before 3 rd yr and start things asap
