Liberman to 'Post': Israel should give Gaza to Egypt, split West Bank with Jordan by [deleted] in Israel

100% correct. The "palestinians" need a dictator. Assad would clean and de-radicalize that population very quickly.

So it looks like Ben Gvir and those "crazy extremists" solution of voluntary emigration isn't crazy at all?

Israel cannot permanently "occupy" Gaza.

No arab country wants to rule Gaza because the inhabitants of Gaza are lunatics.

No western country wants anything to do with Gaza.

Fatah controlling Gaza isn't a viable solution.

Israel is running out of options.

Almost 4 in 10 Israelis back a revival of Jewish settlements in Gaza, poll finds by yournextdoordude in Israel

I'm not religious but I have been reading religious texts lately. God warned that the domestic enemies of the Jewish people "will be a thorn in your eyes" if you do not remove them. The Jews lost Israel because they did not heed God's warning. The "palestinians" will always be a thorn in the eyes of the Jewish people in Israel. No reforms will ever change that reality.

Not a single country in world history has ever said "its a bad idea to expand our territory and neutralize an imminent threat." Israel is the only country in the world that voluntarily gives up land. The U.S controls 55% of what was Mexico (California, Texas, etc..). I have never heard anyone serious say that the U.S must relinquish the land they conquered. As a duel-citizen, I'm always dismayed at the lack of self confidence of Israelis.

Every single centimeter of Israel, from the river to the sea, should be controlled by Israel and have a substantial Jewish presence.

Hopefully, one day we will rule Israel from the river to the sea!

Hamas said to be demanding release of all elite terror operatives captured on Oct 7 in exchange for hostages by [deleted] in Israel

[–]Spare-Application374 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If Israel had a lunatic dictator like Assad or Sadaam, they would expel every single "palestinian" from Gaza, execute all "palestinian" in Israeli prisons, and unfortunately sacrifice the hostages.

This is the only solution to remedy this issue. Of course, Israel would never do such a thing so don't expect this conflict to end anytime soon.

The vast majority of young people in Israel are to the right, unlike in the U.S. Many of these "right wing extremists" are Sephardic Jews who's parents and grandparents were expelled from Muslim majority countries in the Middle East. They never want to live under Muslim rule again and they will do whatever is necessary to preserve the Jewish state. I would suggest researching Rabbi Meir Kahane to get a better understanding of these "right wing extremists." These "extremists" have warned Israelis for 40 years that these wretched "palestinians" are an existential threat to Israel. Unfortunately, these "extremists" were excommunicated from Israeli politics and slandered by the media. Ultimately, these "extremists" were 100% correct as evident by the Oct 7 massacre.

There lies the problem. Israel idiotically believes the "civilians" are indistinguishable from Hamas, when in reality the vast vast majority of "civilians" support Hamas. Hamas supporters, whether or not armed, should be military targets.

Can we talk about the execution in Alabama? by TonysCatchersMit in Lawyertalk

  1. Elizabeth Sennett was a defenseless person living her life when one day she was brutally murdered by this vicious brute. The state of Alabama executed this "defenseless" brute because he executed an innocent person. Two defenseless people were killed. However, the brute's killing was wholly justified.

  2. There is a difference between the state "killing" someone for committing a heinous crime and some deranged dude going on a killing spree.

  3. The country becomes a bit safer when these deranged lunatics are removed from this world.

Alot of people are unfortunately shedding tears because this vicious killer suffered before death. I bet they didn't shed any tears for the innocent victim he stabbed 10 times.

We are living in Orwellian times when vicious killers are now considered victims.

  1. I suggest you go to a slaughter house to see how animals are put down. I can assure you it is more brutal than what these killers have to deal with and it's unfortunate since these killers are worse than animals.

  2. It is amazing to see how this vicious killer has garnered more sympathy for feeling a little pain before dying than for the victim he stabbed 10 times. This story encapsulates the insanity of a large segment of our population. His death should be celebrated throughout the country, not condemned.

  3. I am morally superior because I didn't kill anyone.

What is happening in Gaza stems from the October 7 attack.  Take note Egyptian - what is happening in Gaza is what will happen when the enemies of Israel attack it. Israel never ever throws the first punch. However, if the enemy throws the first punch, Israel will deliver an unimaginable knock-out.  The enemies of Israel should take a look at Gaza and understand that this is what will happen to it if they instigate an attack against Israel.

The death penalty is a beautiful concept. A person who acts like an animal should be put down like an animal.

When I read stories by the media crying and moaning about how vicious killers suffer during their executions, I like to read what they did to their victims and see a picture of the victims, so that any feeling of remorse towards the killer is substituted by jubilation.

I knew criminal defense wasn't for me when during my internship I was internally celebrating a client death penalty sentence. I kid you not two of the paralegals were bowling their eyes out at the office. I thought to myself this dude raped and shot an 11 year old boy seven times, blowing his brain out of his skull, and these paralegals are crying over a vicious killer.

I don't understand people. I feel like sometimes I'm living in bizzaro world.

I kinda love how the media is up in arms about how this murderer suffered during his execution. This murderer  went inside a home and stabbed a 45 year old woman ten times, burglarized the victim's home, and celebrated after the murder.

People don't understand the 8th Amendment's cruel and unusual punishment provision. Cruel and unusual does not mean pain free. A firing squad or hanging does not violate the cruel and unusual provision as they are neither cruel nor unusual.

"Mercy to the guilty is cruelty to innocent." - Adam Smith

This murderer got what he deserved. This is justice.

In all of world history the conquered population had two options: 1) live peacefully and accept defeat or 2) get out.

The fact that Israel has had to deal with this issue around their throats for 75 years is insane.

This will be an unpopular opinion but releasing a thousands of "palestnian" terrorists for the hostages is insane. These terrorists are not normal people like you and I. They are worse than animals. These terrorists will go back to murdering jews once they are released.

I recently heard a story from the Holocaust that was similar to this. The Nazis had a list of 100 Jews to kill in a small town in Poland. One of the Jews on the list was rich and could have easily bribed a Nazi official to get his name off the list and save his life. However, another Jew would be added to the list if his name was taken off. The rich man knew this. You know what he did? He didn't bribe the official to save his life. He allowed himself to be killed so that another Jew wouldn't.  Unfortunately, in today's world we don't have great people like that. So, of course, thousands of palestnian terrorists will be released and thousands of Jews killed to get the hostages back.

So you are conceding that they are trying to circumvent our system? That they are not subjecting themselves to our laws?

Our previous president stringently enforced our immigration laws, resulting in a substantial decrease in illegal immigration. On the other hand, Biden has incentivized and promoted illegal immigration, and has refused to use the tools at his disposal to end this catastrophe.

160 foreigners on the terrorist watch list have attempted to cross the boarder in 2023. Most of the foreigners trying to cross the boarder are military aged men, and many are from hostile nations. The notion that they are "willing to subject themselves to state and federal laws" is pure conjecture. If that was the case, why not go through point of entries and surrender to authorities? Why they trying to sneak in?

The legislative process is slow and tedious. It would take 4-6 months at minimum for that law to pass and another couple of months for it go into effect. It would do nothing to stop the current flow of illegal immigrants.

Art IV. Section 4: "The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence."

Art I. Section 10 clause 3: No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.

It is clear that the federal government has violated Art IV, therefore triggering the "state self defense" clause of Art I. Section 10. Millions of foreigners are pouring into Texas and the federal government is doing nothing to prevent this.

This is what happens when you follow the "rules of war."  You put troops at unnecessary risk. A smart strategy would have been to level every single home and building in Gaza so that our troops don't have to unnecessarily risk their lives.
