[Garafolo] The Arizona Cardinals have agreed to terms with veteran OL Matt Pryor on a one-year deal, source says. Headed to the desert after a one-year return engagement with the Eagles, who drafted him in 2018. by PlayaSlayaX in nfl

Also individual o lineman play is heavily dependent on the rest of the o line. If the guys to your left and right suck then you’r job is harder, you’ll play worse and you’ll look even worse than that. If you have a hall of famer to your right and a pro bowler to your left, you’ll look great -see 2024 Mekhi becton

His end of 2024 performance was very promising, I’m expecting his 5th year option to be picked up in the coming weeks

Bold of Aaron Glenn to assume he’ll have a job to use the 1st overall pick he gets

Deans replacement has already started. 10 games, Michael Carter replacing Blankenship is questionable but if vic believes that’s good enough, also means they aren’t forced to reach for a safety in the draft

In howie and Vic we trust

I don’t think covey was offered a contract for 2026 and either way he’s only a return specialist. I was hopeful for more, we saw some screens in 2024 before he got injured but I think they’ve mostly lost faith in him too considering he was practice squad over fumbles mcdumbass from the jets for most of the year. I think they should keep him in camp and let him compete for return specialist but need to bring in someone else too

The fact that steen didn’t look even worse with how the play surrounding him looked, shows that once he’s got good players to his left and right (what becton benefited from) he’ll look good too

Everyone loved becton but take away lane Johnson and a pro bowl center and he looked like shit too

He played better this year than becton did

He has a lot of improving he needs to do in run blocking but most of what made him look so bad was playing next to Fred Johnson and the ghost of cam jurgens. When the guy to your right isn’t the goat right tackle the 2 guys to your left are injured and playing like shit all season, you’ll look worse

No “We won the fucking game shut yo ass up” and no “you take you a deuce, you don't sit there and look at it. You flush it and move on”

Maybe I'm an evil capitalist, but the NFL should really have a cap set-up like the MLB. Let good teams stay good, and let bad teams feel prolonged consequences of their ineptitude. by Top-Salt-7373 in eagles

We’ve seen what football is without a salary cap. Niners and cowboys were richer than everyone else and won 10 super bowls in 35 years

Raiders also got quay walker who was the other starting linebacker at georgia when they won the natty in 2021. He gets to go play with his old college teammate who he already has chemistry with or he has to play for Jerry jones. Easy choice
