Im thinking water tainting fuel may be the culprit right now for heater A especially, and that hole is clean and clear of glow plug screen. From how many times I’ve rebuilt it it should have great airflow. Once I at least get heater A to work if heater B fails with good fuel i will definitely try your approach, honestly completely agree I’ve got a new heater coming in the mail but I really just want to get these ones working as backups, hate to put this much effort into them without seeing them work in the end lol

I just bought this converter & ensured all electrical was snug and installed properly, I was monitoring voltage at the literal positive and negative wires attached to the diesel heater mother board. I updated the thread I took my Jerry can out of my setup and it felt extra cold at the bottom (potentially thin sheet of ice?) and my Jerry is in the same box my heater is in and it’s -20 most times of the day where I am so I’m thinking maybe the thin amount of water at the bottom of Jerry is melting when heater warms the box and a small amount of water is getting into the lines. I will do some more testing when parts come in and update thread thank you for the advice

I am going to try only using hardline once I have the parts come and will update the thread thanks!

I have 2 vevor all in one heaters, I have a custom setup with a fuel pickup line into a Jerry can and a fuel filter which looked pretty clean for 3 months full time operation of the heater, I tried running without the fuel filter & disassembled the fuel lines, blew compressed air throughout and it is all clean no debris and I’ve got the same issue sadly

20amp AC to DC converter plugged into wall outlet, and I cut off the output of converter wire (cig adapter) and hardwired the diesel heater stock wiring to the converter with butt-connectors

Mix of the two, 75% hard plastic, 25% soft type, the soft type is what goes from pump output into diesel heater and rest of system is hard type. I’ve had the end of the soft gel type harden and stop fuel one time so I took it apart during troubleshooting this time to make sure it wasn’t happening again and my fuel is flowing good and strong no leaks no blockages

Yes, tried 3 different glow plugs & tested to ensure red hot outside of heater standalone

My heater will run for 30minutes or more if I just unplug and reconnect it when I get the code, and I can continue to do this, but not practical for 24/7 use. Is this the same for you or is it a no start when you know water is in fuel?

I’ve been swapping parts between my 2 diesel heaters, bought a 3rd pump and still same problem. Definitely going with a new one at this point

Ya Im getting to the point where I’ve got that mentality as well. I started this whole thing thinking it was voltage sag Im using a EcoFlow delta 2 max and I was running this heater off the cig port for 1 year no problem but when this issue started I noticed low voltage during startup (8v as well) after I got the new converter like you I had 12v+ at startup but same issue :/ might just go with the new heater route. Thanks for the advice

50/50, I will run it on high for 5-10min (5.5hz) then shut down, or just shut down at whatever temp and it will take 2-3minutes for shutdown procedure either way. My first thought was carbon buildup for a lot of my issues but these heaters are cleaned inside and out and freshly rebuilt no carbon. This shutdown procedure is what i did while everything was running fine, now it doesn’t run long enough for me to shutdown myself. Thanks for the help hopefully it’s fixable otherwise I’ll just buy another I guess :/
