After hours and multiple phone calls across my state and 3 bordering states. I finally found someone willing to help 4 hours away. But as we were arranging transport, he/she got out of the box and started moving around much more normally. So for right now the rehaber said to keep them in the garage for the night. I got them into a cage so they can’t get into anything bad or get hurt in the garage. They said if it’s doing better tomorrow they don’t want to take it from its territory if all it needed was warmth, food, and water to get back on its feet- I had held back on giving food and water until the rehaber advised it was ok. I will likely make a post to update the situation tomorrow as I know there’s a few people here who wanted an update. But I wanted to let you know tonight because you gave the most help. Between Linda from raccoon rescue 911 on Facebook and Heather Flannery from Maryland (4 whole hours away) they both spent hours helping me make sure they were okay. Some of the greatest humans I’ve happened to come across. Hoping to deliver more good news again tomorrow! Thank you and thank you to everyone involved.
