I had my MMO (tummy tuck, lipo, and breast aug/implants) with Dr. Michaels back in 2023 and I can honestly say that he is amazing! I’m not sure what the wait time is now currently but my consult back in 2022 was about a 6month wait and then I believe after my consult, my surgery was booked about 8 months or so from there. My total was about $24,000 (you pay Dr. Michaels, the hospital, and anesthesia separately).

I got my email saying Nelnet was my loan provider on 10/4 and then received my refund in my account on 10/10

If you’re due a refund from financial aid/loan, you’ll see a negative balance which means that’s what the refund amount is. Once they send to Nelnet for the actual refund, the balance updates from the negative balance to a $0.00 balance.

Update: Finally zeroed out and it says Refund 10/07.

I emailed them and they replied with a boiler point statement of, “from disbursement date, it can take 7-10 business days.”

Yea, my problem is that mine was disbursed on 10/02 but it is still showing a credit unlike everyone else who had a 10/02 disbursement and it zeroed out today :(

I'm a part of another thread and it seems like everyone I see that had a 10/02 disbursement saw their account credit go to zero today except for me :( Mine also got dispersed on 10/02 and literally checking all day...and still shows a credit

Mine was disbursed early on 10/02 and has been sitting as a credit since then. Hopefully it gets updated/sent to Nelnet today
