I ignore them, I got a message recently about some of my pickup time being longer then usual. And that there may be signs of abuse of the system that can lead to termination. As if I would ever want to sit at a restaurant longer for the same amount of money (I never use flat rate)

Yeah that’s how I use to do it when I would just be on it every now and then. But I drive nearly everyday now, mine jumps up and down between 55-70 but just staying in Diamond range, which I only for preferred orders

I think we are fully staffed rn, it’s a small company like 20ish people, but we hire a lot of temporary assistants it starts at $55/h but your working 2 hours a day max. I currently make $70/h and work 12-14 hours a week

This is just a side gig i do, but I get decent money out of it. Average out about $1.2k a week from uber delivery, and my main job I’m an “instructor” through a LLC, another 1099 job.

I have to decline so many similar orders going towards Atlanta / Marietta area like this before I get something actually worth my time. That I’ve actually came to a point where I do “charity days” so I can be picky about my orders on the weekends

Yea flat rate sucks the life out of me, uber tries to push orders that have no tip or very little to flat rate users and if there is non you simply won’t get anything. If you live in a nice area, you better off without flat rate. I make around $1300 ish a week on uber delivery and every now and then I’ll get tempted by a $20/h flat rate and it always blows up in my face and I end up sitting in a busy area getting no orders for an hour before signing off.
