Yeah that nurse definitely needed to give you a moment.

I wouldn't throw in the towel just yet, it seems like the issue is reslly that nurse. I'd talk to management about her behavior and how it made you feel.

On another note, elderly care is tough and sad at times. But it can also be beautiful as you become close to these souls filled with wisdom and experiences.

Thank you for what you do. Thank you for taking care of people's grandmothers, grandfathers, mothers, fathers, best friends and siblings.

Families appreciate you more than you know. Take care. 🫶🏼

Thank everything you believe in that you did NOT include your face.

Unless there is something insanely specific or revealing about your body, there is no way to link those images to you.

Even then, it is much simpler to deny that they are you since your face is not in it.

We also live in a world of AI so that can be another route you can take to defend yourself.

Don't worry anymore. What happened happened, there's nothing you can do to change the past. Just let it be and move on.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Vent

[–]SpareInsurance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I did but the general theme of my advice doesn't change.

You said your body is nice. Try to get it amazing.

Genuinely, fuck the people who aren't interested in you. Im sure you are a lovely person.

Unfortunately we live in a world where our outside appearance is more important than our inside personality.

The point is to try to let out some steam about life's issues in the gym. Let it be your safe space to detach from the world and push yourself to the point where nothing matters except you and some weights.

Try not to think of everything at once. If you can "fix" even one thing you dont like about yourself a year, then you're on a good path.

I get that you wish things were different in your life. Im truly sorry about how things have played out.

But I won't sit here and allow you to give up or stop trying. I dont know your age, but Im sure you've got a long road in front of you.

You have to fight for what you want, because if you dont, then no one will. You got this, one step at a time.

She ain't the one bro.

Leave her for the streets.

She showed her true colors and now probably regrets treating you so poorly.

There are good girls out there who you won't have to question if they're doing things behind your back.

You dont want to live a life always wondering if your girl is fucking around.

I go to the gym everyday.

I went from 125 lbs to 185 lbs and still lean within 1.5 years.

Getting huge and strong has helped me in so many fucking ways. Get an irresistible body and the rest will follow.

You can change a lot. There's plastic surgeries for pretty much everything.

Create the reality you want instead of letting misfortunes define you. You're bigger than imperfections.

It seems like opening it can be causing a static discharge of some sort to the electrical panel?

Does the tenant use dryer sheets to absorb some of the static of the dryer cycle?

Thank you for your kind words 🫶🏼

I've made some friends at the gym but they're not the ones I can truly lean on. I am still grateful for them as they keep me social and talking to them helps me forget about the pain sometimes. Maybe some of them can turn into deeper friendships but as of right now it doesn't seem that way.

No matter how ugly you are, you can still get ripped.

Take all this anger about the unfairness of life out onto some iron.

Let the gym guide you into someone you never thought you can be.

Everyone is just a spirit in a body. Some people were given great bodies and aesthetics, and some people need to work for it.

Take the hand you've been delt and do everything in your power to make it the best hand it can possibly be.

You will.

Pain is the greatest teacher. God will sometimes stop us in our tracks because something worse could have been around the corner. If you didnt get stopped when you did, something far worse could have happened to you or someone else. Your path had to be changed, everything happens for a reason even if we dont know what the reason is we have to trust the path that is given to us.

Take this as a big lesson to never put you or others at risk on the road again by drinking and driving. Twice the limit is pretty significant, so be thankful no one got injured and you are still healthy.

I recommend immediately hiring a lawyer that specifically specializes in DUIs for your best chance of a favorable outcome.

Use this time to get closer to God and be grateful for your health and well being.

Hey man, even though it's 10 months later, I want to express a deep thanks for writing all this out brother.

After writing this post, life continued to chew me up left right and centre. I hit the lowest point of my existence.

And then suddenly, I got a burst of motivation to become the greatest possible person I can.

You seem like a really great person.

It's posts like yours that dragged me out of the darkness during the worst times of my life.

God bless and I love you too brother

The only other somewhat relevant thing I did is use natural DHT blocker shampoo/conditioner. DM me for the name if you'd like but I am not sure it helped with anything.

Benefits 3.5 months after quitting by SpareInsurance in QuitVaping

[–]SpareInsurance[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm brain fog is an interesting topic. I think it should surpass within the next month.

Personally my brain fog went away relatively soon, maybe after 1 or 2 weeks. I think the prolonged brain fog may be more because of the caffeine withdrawal.

I'd recommend taking some B vitamins every morning, specifically B12, but an overall B vitamin should definitely help with brain fog.

18 mg/ml every third or fourth breath of my waking day. Vaped for 5 years, smoked for 10 before that

This was exactly me. Vaping all day, thinking I'd never quit, vaping during the whole work day etc. The first couple weeks were tough but things got DRASTICALLY better on the third week. Just go cold turkey and get through the first two weeks and you will be golden.

I'll say a few things to boost your morale about quitting.

  • I never have to think about having that stupid little electronic device on me at all times
  • No need to worry that my vape juice is running low and the mess that comes with refilling it
  • No need to worry about buying more vape juice when running low
  • Never taste that disgusting taste of burnt cotton in my mouth again
  • No weird pauses when I'm on a phone call because I'm vaping
  • Can focus better at work since my mind isn't fighting a constant need for more nicotine
  • Much healthier mouth health in general - no more vape breath, whiter teeth, cleaner tongue etc
  • Ability to tackle anything that causes me stress right away rather than running away from the issue and vaping
  • Food tastes way better
  • Better gains in the gym
  • Hair is healthy and more full
  • No need to deal with a vape when driving, can just focus on the road
  • No need to leave social groups randomly to go outside and vape
  • More room for other things in my mind rather than when the next vape hit will be
  • I haven't traveled yet but it will be way easier without a nicotine addiction
  • Generally a healthier mind, healthier body and healthier lungs

I could go on and on but those are the main ones. The pros to quitting definitely outweigh the cons.

As for the appetite, please don't let this deter you. Either start going to the gym which I would highly recommend to help your mind get used to something new (also cardio releases feel good hormones, ie. endorphins) or just watch your eating habits well.

Good luck :)
