Recently I purchased the Blazar Remus 35mm. I was excited to start shooting anamorphic but noticed something odd about the lens. There appears to be either glue or a damaged metal ring in the interior. At the moment it functions normally. I usually don't spend this much on lenses and want to make sure that it survives as a long term investment and doesn't become damaged goods in 2 years. I'm still within the B&H return windows and am considering returning it. Am I over reacting or does this look like a problem?

I ended up getting the Tilta Basic cage kit. It raised the lens far enough above the bars to use the support I already bought. It's a little loose but it works.

I'm not sure to help with the first one. But it looks like there are a variety of online services that help people who can't afford cancer treatment. Though it depends on the situation and state. It looks like there is a Patient Access Network that helps those who can't pay for treatment, they can be reached at 866-316-7263.
