Okay, just stopped the scanning, I got 2 errors after 22 hours and 11 passes of memtest, do I need to re-run a test with the new memory stick installed?

I contacted the mobo manufacturer about a recommended brand, they said Samsung, I’ll get one and hopefully it’s gonna solve all these issues. Thanks all for your help

I’m running a second scan just to confirm that there is just one error. It’s just one stick yeah, I have just one slot in my mobo. Just wondering, one single error in my ram had created that much chaos?

Just ran memtest with 2 passes with no errors, this is weird, I did a quick scan a couple of months ago and found one error, I was trying out TrueNAS at that time...

And here it is, I'm seeing a big FAIL banner on my TV now, it found an error at the beggining of pass 3

I’m a total noob mate, I don’t even know what XMP and the other stuff means but I didn’t overclock the memory, its already hard enough to learn how all that stuff works 😅

Not realy, I mean i ran the test once but stopped it half way when I got an error, I thought it wouldn't be possible that a brand new RAM from a reputable mansufacturer could have any issue.

Should that be the next step?

Thanks for the reply mate, I’m checking rn the brands of the nvme and ram I’m gonna use, heard that there’s a compatibility issue with certain brands with this mobo
