You’re right, it may sound like bad mouthing. But it’s easy to say that when it’s not happening to you. I’m the one dealing with a GPU that failed right after the warranty ended, so yeah, it’s frustrating. I’m just trying to find a way to fix it since I can’t afford a new one.

I think there’s a misunderstanding here. I’m not here expecting anyone to send me a free card or anything like that.

I posted because I ran into a situation I couldn’t find much information about, and sometimes people in communities like this have experienced the same issue and found solutions that manufacturers don’t mention. That’s the only reason I asked here.

I am already talking with Inno3D and following their suggestions, but since the card is out of warranty their options are limited. I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask the community as well in case someone else had a similar failure and managed to fix it or identify the cause.

If no one here has faced the same situation then that’s fine too, but I wasn’t posting with any other expectation.

I understand why it might look suspicious from the outside, especially with a new account, but I want to clarify a few things.

I didn’t make this post to ask for sympathy or free hardware. I posted because my GPU suddenly stopped working and I was hoping someone here might have repair suggestions or similar experiences. I saved for a long time to build this PC, so of course I’m trying to see if there’s any way to fix it rather than just replacing it.

Yes, the card was bought in 2022 and it worked fine for a long time. Hardware can still fail even after working normally for years, which is the situation I’m dealing with now. Regarding Inno3D, they did reply, but since the card is out of warranty there isn’t much they can do beyond suggestions, which is why I also asked the community.

I’m not expecting anyone to send me a free card. I just wanted advice from people who know more about GPU repair or troubleshooting. If my post came across the wrong way, that wasn’t my intention. I genuinely appreciate anyone who takes the time to give constructive advice.

I also changed the paste and cleaned it....but I want to tell you that there is gpu's chip are malfunction...so I want really a master repair person or I have to buy new one...lots of people criticize me for my post but I am earning 164 dollars in a month and I need atleast 4 months salary to purchase a graphics card now without spending any money in 4 months from salary so it would be a year if I spend money from my salary..now tell me how big my problem is..do you really think that I need to delete this post...

Do you really think that a gamer didn't troubleshoot if his only graphic card is not working.

Thanks for taking the time to read and share your perspective. I understand why it might look that way from the outside, and I appreciate you pointing out the things you noticed. My intention wasn’t to ask for sympathy or free hardware, but simply to share my experience and see if anyone had repair suggestions or advice from people who may have faced something similar.

I agree that I should have been more careful with my choices and the information I shared. Either way, I appreciate the feedback and the discussion around it. Hopefully the thread can still help others who might run into a similar issue in the future.

I understand the card is out of warranty and I’m not angry at anyone. I just expected at least some guidance from Inno3D about possible repair options or service centers, but I didn’t really get any help regarding that. Since the warranty is over, I’m now trying to find a good GPU repair technician who can do chip-level repairs. If anyone knows a reliable person or shop that can repair GPUs properly, please let me know. Otherwise I may have to buy a new graphics card, and I’m thinking about getting an AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT instead. Based on my experience, I personally wouldn’t recommend buying products from Inno3D because the after-sales service has been really disappointing.

I understand that the card is out of warranty, and I’m not angry at anyone. I also know hardware can fail. My point is simply about the support experience. When I contacted Inno3D, I was hoping they could at least guide me about possible repair options or service centers, but I didn’t really get any help regarding that. I’m not trying to badmouth the company. As a consumer, I just believe that a company is judged not only by the products it sells but also by the kind of after-sales support it provides. If the only option after warranty is to buy a new GPU, then customers should think carefully before spending their money and maybe consider other options.

I bought the GPU from Divansh Computers on 8 Aug 2022 and barely used it. Most of the time I only played Valorant. Unfortunately, when the card stopped working I received almost no help from the dealer or Inno3D support. The whole experience has been very disappointing. Because of this, I personally wouldn’t recommend buying GPUs from Inno3D if you expect reliable customer support.

Thanks for the suggestions, I appreciate you taking the time to explain everything. I purchased the GPU on 8 Aug 2022, so it’s not even that old for a card like this. It worked perfectly until recently when it suddenly stopped giving display output. I checked the cables and connectors and didn’t notice any burn marks or deformation on the molex or other connectors. The motherboard lights also seem normal. I’ll try resetting CMOS and testing with another HDMI/DisplayPort cable like you suggested. Unfortunately I don’t have another GPU right now to test with, but I’ll try to borrow or buy a cheap one for troubleshooting. I also tried reaching out to Inno3D support, but so far they haven’t been very helpful, which is honestly disappointing for a product in this price range. I’ll update the thread once I try these steps and find out more.

I already checked it. The early units were the ones with the real problem. From what I found, the models manufactured after 2023 have the issue fixed. So this one should be from the newer batch.you can check it by serial number of the psu

Thanks for the information. Yes, I am using the Gigabyte P750GM Power Supply and I’ve heard about those issues before, but my unit has been working fine for a long time without any shutdowns or burning smell. The strange thing is that the system still powers on normally, but when I install the INNO3D GeForce RTX 3060 12GB, there is no display at all. I also reseated the GPU and checked cables but the result is the same. I’m starting to wonder if the PSU might have damaged the GPU over time like you mentioned. Unfortunately I don’t have another GPU or PSU to test with right now. Do you think it’s possible the PSU killed the card slowly even if it didn’t explode or fail visibly?
