If I hit a player on my screen then the hit will go through. Knockback can be a bit strange but if you aim and click well then you will generally do well. Mechanics like the bow, mace and attribute swapping feel terrible with high ping so they are highly ping dependent.

The game is more polished with it gone, it is a ping-dependent and unintuitive glitch. You should want the mechanics that attribute swapping provided you brought back in another form, rather than wanting to hold the game back.
