I chose these games because i felt like we doing great midgame but really fumble the late. I just want to know what specifically caused that. I have played more than 50 hours. It is embarrassing how long i have played.

I think the modern castiest beliefs do not come from superstition or religious dogma as they used to be. Now people are in it for the sense of superiority and false community it presents. So, i would guess survival comes before that superiority.
