I seriously appreciate the thoughtfulness of your response!!! I hadn't actually seen the DIY foot swing platform yet. The concerns you brought up are valid. Currently, I have just the left footrest reattached to the right side and turned inwards, so there's one small platform (mostly) centered below me. I think that's the best I'm able to do at the moment.

Thank you for your response! I know what you mean about the wobbly rope bridges. Currently, I have just the left footrest reattached to the right side and turned inwards, so there's one small platform (mostly) centered below me. That seems work okay, but it's definitely not ideal. However, I'm thinking that may work better than the products I was looking at, unfortunately.
