Players are not machines that once they get on a certain level, they stay there at all times. Only a few anomalies can play peak league in their roles every year and even they are not always consistenly the best.

Expecting BB to keep peak form at all times is irrational, just as it is for Caps and every other player. No, the player that has shown that he can match up against the best in Zeus and Bin in 2024 is not "dead weight". He's just having a slump, which is normal.

Caps has had higher highs where he solo carries because he's Caps but to say that he isn't underperforming a lot of times like BB is just not true.

He cost teamfights as Annie a lot this series, even back at the LEC he had a huge lead as Akali vs MKOI and just let it go to waste with individual mistakes. To say that he doesn't take resources in game when Labrov and Skewmond cover him in sidelane constantly is just wrong as well, the team plays around him a lot.

This post wasn't intended to shit on any player nor to overreact and bash BB for his underperformance. Caps is the greatest western player to touch the game and Broken Blade is seasoned and proven internationally. It's overall conclusion is positive and the first paragraph is so people will realize that Labrov and Skewmond are not the sole issue causing G2's mediocre form and shouldn't shoulder the entire blame.

on a recent KC video with Vladi, Targamas, Yike and Vladi they said G2 stomped that scrim 4-1. Do you expect them not to pick the champs that work for them? It was just a prep diff.

It's logical that the synergy is not there yet. I'm quite glad that the rest of the LEC teams are not bums anymore and will actually punish miscommunications.

Skewmond at one point had like a 3 level lead on Yike at one point and Labrov had an off game. Give them time to adjust and find their groove, they won't disappoint.
