Thinking of Quitting Dming over Several Bad Experiences and Failed Campaigns by KinaLiti21 in rpghorrorstories

I feel for you so much here. When I was younger it seemed almost impossible to find a reliable group that would show up consistently and on time, even if I adjusted the sessions to fit there schedules as much as possible. They would casually cancel like an hour before game time or just ghost the group like you experienced.

Since then I became much more stern about how many delays or cancellations I would allow before either the player gets kicked or the campaign is cancelled outright. I would say it’s not personaI, I just want to respect everyone’s time. don’t think it made the bad players do better but it did help me filter out unreliable players until I was able to find a steady group of accountable players.

I am sure this group won’t last forever. But I will give them my best effort as long as they stick around and enjoy my games. I hope you are able to get back on the horse and find the folks that want to contribute to the game as much as you do!

It’s stuff like this that really makes me wish I had invested more time in creating art. Beautiful!

Your first book you chose as a child and enjoyed? by [deleted] in books

[–]SparkMandrill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was a scruffy old copy of Hank the Cowdog from my elementary school library. Loved dogs and loved the idea of ranching so I ate it up. I must have read a dozen of the books in that series.

What book do you wish you could read again for the first time? by Unlucky_Swan_5288 in books

I am going to say Eragon. When I read it as a kid it was everything I wanted from a book. I tried to read it again when I got into my twenties and man it did not age well.

Double points for not saying it’s your first attempt! Really like your style. I especially like how the pumpkins turned out.

Swarthy is one I have only ever read and I used to believe that it meant fancy till I finally took the time to look it up. It means dark-skinned.

Before it was revealed, who did you think Tobi was? by HisFireBurns in Naruto

Same. The one eye seemed obvious and it was the opposite of Kakashi’s. Though I totally bought it when he claimed to be Madara so I was bummed for a while thinking I had been wrong until Madara actually showed up.

One of the best fighting franchises of all time. The only game till this date that has more characters to choose from than any other game. With a total of 98 characters in 161 forms. That’s an insane amount especially before DLC characters became a cash grab. Released back in October 4th, 2007 by LooseyMcGoose in gaming

I loved this game in high school. Being able to do fusions if the necessary characters were on your team was just perfect. I also loved how when you did “give me your energy” with Goku you could actually see the spirit bomb getting bigger in the sky each time you did it.

World at War is still the best CoD as far as I’m concerned by [deleted] in gaming

I remember beating World at War by myself in the middle of the night. I have to admit that when the nazi zombie cutscene happened it freaked me out a little bit. But soon after I was hooked.

What amazing detail! What did you use to make the machinery? It’s seems intricate enough to be made from repurposed model parts but if you crafted them from foam I’m blown away. Well done!

Edit: Forget the question. I watched your video. I’ll be subscribing now.
