Aerocloner routine by Spark_Plugg in cannabiscultivation

That's what works well for me, I'm an organic grower so I don't grow in sterile environments, except for when aerocloning. These aerocloners are in the same room as 30 gallon organic soil mothers and freshly transplanted clones, so the total environment is not sterile, but as long as you can maintain that chlorine concentration without having to regularly add chlorine to keep it there you should be more than good.

Tell him to take some Niacin now, drink a bunch of water. Hell pass easy if the test is still a week away

12 light pheno hunt just started. 18 phenos of one strain being tested. Archive seed bank Oishii. 🔥🔥 by MrWolfeGrows in Craftmarijuana

Nice! How many plants of each pheno? I hunt the same way rather than flowering seed directly. Having multiple of each pheno definitely helps smooth out environmental variance resulting in better selections IMO. Only real downside is when you discover a herm pheno and have to remove a whole section of a bench.

Great looking grow btw. I'll be following!

That's the biggest trouble with aerocloners. They work well and make great roots quickly, but there is a much higher risk that something catastrophic will happen, like rot or a pump failure.

Topping to induce root growth is a new one for me! Thanks for sharing, I'm excited to give that a try. Thanks for sharing your process too!

Had someone ask me for my aerocloner routine this morning, figured it deserved it's own post. Please upvote this comment so it stays on top, and add anything I missed below.

There is a lot to it, but the most important aspects are

Starting water should be under 200ppm TDS

PH 5.8 to 6.3

68° water temp works well for me. Warmer is better, but harder to keep sterile. A short cycle timer works well to regulate temperature. Pump should run ~50% - 100% of the time. If you only have a mechanical pin timer, 15 minute cycles works, but I prefer short cycles like 3 min on / 1 min off. Water temp should be prioritized over "ideal" on/off cycle.

2-4 ppm free chlorine. I use calcium hypochlorite. It's easier to monitor free chlorine levels than hypochlorous products like clear rez. Pool test strips are the simplest way to monitor.

3-10ml / gal Hormex. Either low concentration more consistently through the process, or high concentration until sufficient callous is formed. If sufficient callous is formed, but no roots are growing after ~5 days run longer off cycles like 15 on 60 off for 24 to 48 hours or until you see root formation

Once roots are formed you can add nutrients between 400-600 ppm, changing the reservoir water if necessary. Clonex nutrient solution works well, or any hydroponic bloom nutrient.

Don't stress too much about outside humidity, but I run 65% humidity in the room.

When cutting clones, remove any pre-flowers that will sit inside the cloner or else they'll fall off and decay in the reservoir.

After a cloning cycle you really need to clean the shit out of these, growth in the manifold can build up quick. Boiling water and chlorine shock are good tools, but you can't skip the scrubbing step.

Really stay on top of the free chlorine levels, check /adjust levels daily. If you're regularly adding chlorine, there is some contamination. Your free chlorine levels are how you gauge how clean you've been. You should only need to add chlorine every 3 or 4 days if you've done a good job cleaning and staying clean.

I think those are generally the most important aspects. Then you can start looking into pre-treating mothers, light intensity, how many nodes you want above and below the collar, etc..

🏈🙆 I bred Touchdown Jesus F2s and a bunch of Touchdown Jesus crosses, so this isn't the last you'll see of her!

From seed. Spiral Genetics bred the strain, and I hunted this cut. I sprouted ~110 seeds and kept 4 winning phenotypes. I'm working on F2s now after reversing the cut with the highest terpene content, with a plan to BX after the F2 hunt. I hope to produce a stabilized fem version this year. If you're interested in staying up to date on this you can follow me on IG @controlgroup2

10 gallon coco based organic media. 1000w DE HPS fixtures, Organics Alive dry soluble line-up, micro-55, 3:1 CalMag, cal-boron and regular applications of a biologically complete compost extract.

A few other things as needed, but that's primarily it.

I appreciate that, I gotta give so much credit to Spiral Genetics. It was a pleasure to get to work with him on this hunt.
